STAMPIN' UP! PINK ROSE SYMPATHY CARD

I am not quite ready to resume my Just Add Ink Design Team commitments (getting close ... my craft room is getting set up, and will be ready very soon!).  However, since Just Add Ink's challenge this week is to make a sympathy card, I thought I would share a card I recently made for a dear friend who lost her mother.  My friend is rather partial to pink, and not too much "fuss", so I kept it fairly simple and subtle.

The Botanical Blooms vellum (one of this year's Sale-A-Bration freebies from Stampin' Up!) helps soften the top part of my card. I added colour to the die-cut rose with a blender pen and Blushing Bride ink, then painted it with clear Wink of Stella.
