JAI # 231 : STAMPIN' UP! "I LIKE YOU"

At Just Add Ink this week, we have a colour challenge for you.

I had to think long and hard about this one!  In the end, I decided to go "floral", and have used one of Stampin' Up!'s hostess stamp sets called "I Like You".  This set cannot be bought, but may be earned for free if you place a $300+ order, or host a workshop with sales of that amount.

I have left the sentiment uncoloured, because I think the background is busy enough!  The little butterfly hides a line of ink that I didn't want on my card. :)

The products I used can be bought in my online store, by clicking on the images below.  (NB: I've provided the code for "I Like You", but it is a hostess set only):

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team samples at Just Add Ink; they are awesome!  We'd love to see what you make, using these colours, too - so why not link up your papercraft creation on the Just Add Ink site?

  1. A very sweet card, Christine! The flowers are beautiful and look great stamped around the edges of that Deco shape. The butterfly seems like such a natural embellishment, I think you could have gotten away without telling us about the errant line of color LOL!!

  3. That's gorgeous and I love how you have used the organza ribbon over the Bermuda bay to pick up the colour.

  7. I think you were right to leave the sentiment un-coloured, it pops off the page perfectly!
