Dynamic Duos has this gorgeous, soft, colour combination as the challenge this week:
and Sunny Challenges & Creations' challenge is to use circles on a papercraft project:
Here's the card I made, combining these two challenges:
Stamps: Fox & Friends, A to Z, Confetti, Short & Sweet
Card: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze
Ink: Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze and Crumb Cake stampin' pads, Versamark inkpad
Other: 1 3/4" Circle punch, White embossing powder, sponge daubers, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Baja Breeze seam binding, Pink Pirouette taffeta ribbon, Whisper White taffeta ribbon, Word Window punch, Modern Label punch, mini glue dots
My boys are back at school, after 2 weeks holiday (actually, the eldest had almost 4 weeks, since he went on a Central Australia trip with school in the week leading up to the holidays), so the house is very quiet today! As much as I love the holidays, I do like to get back into a 'normal' routine - although soon you might have to remind me I said that, as we get busier and busier, leading into cricket pre-season!!
I love the text and the flipping of the colors!! Charming use of these stamps! So glad to see you at Dynamic Duos!
ReplyDeleteVery cute!!! I need to make some baby cards so my have to do a little caseing here lol.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you its a catch twenty two, no getting up early and making lunches or the peace and quite of them back at school both good!!

ReplyDeleteI love the white embossed little creatures. This is still one of my favourite stamp sets! Thanks for being a great supporter of Dynamic Duos.
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome combination of the challenges, Christine & a gorgeous end result! So many clever techniques - I especially love the white embossed critters & the "grid" in the background stamping. Hugs :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie! Love it! We gave up cricket with Sandy 3 years ago! He misses it ... But it is the best thing we ever did! Now we have our Saturdays back ... And the kids go surfing with Gav! Hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteAodrable! Love that A to Z stamp! A very cute idea to use polka dots as a frame for the four baby images! Thanks for joining us at Dynamic Duos this week! :)
