STAMPIN' UP! HUMMING ALONG HIBISCUS THINKING OF YOU CARD

I have been busily creating with the soon-to-be-retired Humming Along bundle (stamp set and dies), and am loving the colourful cards I will be sharing with you over the next several days.

Today's share uses the gorgeous flower from the stamp set, that I coloured with Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade, and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends.  Flirty Flamingo is a colour I've hardly used, but I'm thinking I have to add it to my repertoire of regularly-ussed colours!

Here's a close-up of the custom coloured ribbon I tied into a bow.  I wanted Flirty Flamingo ribbon, so used the dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends marker to colour some Whisper White Classic Weave ribbon.  I hope you find this tip helpful!  Alcohol markers are great for colouring ribbon, as the ink dries almost immediately.

I stamped the sentiment directly onto Designer Series Paper, and used my Stamparatus to ensure a good coverage of ink.  I had to stamp the sentiment three times to get it to my desired level of darkness!  The Stamparatus makes this process so easy and quick, with no worry about not lining up the image each time.

Listed below are the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  If you'd like to buy them for yourself, and you live in Australia, I would love for you to shop with me, if you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  You can reach my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

Please come back to visit in the next few days, as I will be sharing more cards in my Humming Along series.

STAMPIN' UP! HUMMING ALONG BIRTHDAY CARD #2

For today's Humming Along card, I have used a different colouring medium.  Yesterday's card featured a hummingbird coloured with Watercolour Pencils, and blender pens.  Today's bird is coloured using Stampin' Blends - Stampin' Up!'s alcohol markers.

Isn't this such a pretty colour combo?  I'm loving how well the Iridescent Sequins work with these colours, too.

Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to buy the products, I would love for you to shop with me, by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.  Several of the items I've used are retired early next month, so don't miss out, if you love them!

STAMPIN' UP! HUMMING ALONG EMBOSSED BIRTHDAY CARD

I have had my first play with the gorgeous Humming Along bundle of products, that will retire at the beginning of next month!  I've always had a "thing" for hummingbirds, so bought this stamp set and die collection months ago, with all good intentions.  This is the first card I've made since my Dad died, and it felt good to be creating again.

I love the background I created for the hummingbird on this card.  After embossing the top portion of the Whisper White panel, with the Lovely Floral embossing folder (sadly this is also retiring in June), I adhered a Whisper White die cut from the Hummingbird framelits, and mounted the die-cut hummingbird on top.  I really like the white-on-white, with lovely subtle details.  Here's a close-up:

.... and the card in its entirety:
