STAMPIN' UP! MIXED FLORALS TULIP THANK YOU CARD

Today's card is the last in my current Mixed Florals series.  I have had a lovely time creating with these products, but for now it's time to move on to something else.

For the background, I have used two different papers from the Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper pack.  I matted them on Calypso Coral card, and wrapped White 1/4" Diagonal Trim around the two layers, covering the vertical join.  A bow was created with the same ribbon, and adhered with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the focal image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, on Basic White card, and coloured it using Stampin' Blends Markers.  The flowers are Calypso Coral and Petal Pink, and most of the foliage is coloured in Shy Shamrock.  I added Granny Apple Green to the thin flower stems.  After die-cutting this piece, I used my Light Petal Pink Stampin' Blends to colour in the white background.  I then glued it to a piece of Basic White card cut using an Everyday Arches Die.  The arch is raised up on Stampin' Dimensionals.

The smaller Everyday Arches die-cut piece is also Basic White card.  I used a Blending Brush, and Petal Pink ink, to add colour to it.  There was some residual ink, of a different pink, on the Blending Brush, so it turned out a little darker than Petal Pink, but I think the pink complements the Calypso Coral flowers.

I stamped the sentiment, from Mixed Labels, in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and sponged the edges of the arched die-cut using Petal Pink ink.

Ombre Matte Decorative Dots finish off my design.

Each day this week I am sharing news of Stampin' Up!'s new Stampin' Rewards Program, as it affects anyone who orders $35 or more in product.  I'm excited about the new, simpler, more rewarding program, and hope you are, too.

STAMPIN' UP! MIXED FLORALS CONEFLOWER BIRTHDAY CARD

Whilst I love the large tulip stamp in the Mixed Florals bundle, I also really like the coneflowers, or echinacea.  The large images are a delight to colour with Stampin' Blends Markers.

This background paper is one of my favourite patterns in the Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper packs.  I love the slightly unexpected inclusion of Boho Blue - one of my favourite colours, that  will be retiring from Stampin' Up!'s range in the first week of May. 😞

Here's a closer look at the texture and detail on my card.  The two rectangles were cut using Textured Notes Dies (you may notice I am loving those at the moment!).  The Calypso Coral layer is Two-Tone Cardstock, from the Storybook Life pack, and the smaller rectangle is Basic White - which has also been embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder.

I used Stampin' Blends Markers to colour the flowers and foliage.  The Calypso Coral and Boho Blue embellishments are Ombre Matte Decorative Dots.  In addition to the main image, I stamped, coloured and die-cut an extra sprig of the smaller flowers.

The sentiment, from Sweetly Scripted, was stamped in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White card.  I used a label die from the Delicate Forest Dies to cut it out.

While the news is fresh, I'm going to continue sharing details of Stampin' Up!'s new Stampin' Rewards Program - because I think it is a huge improvement.  Everyone who orders $35 or more of product now gets to earn rewards; how good is that?!
