STAMPIN' UP! BEAUTIFUL BOUQUET IN RED AND BLACK

It's my sister's birthday today.  Lynda was born the day before my first birthday, so on this day every year, we're twins!  We celebrate with a "sisters' lunch".  (I'll be enjoying a bit of stamping time for my birthday tomorrow.)

For the birthday girl's card, I pulled out my favourite Beautiful Bouquet bundle, and played with a bold colour combination.  I'm always drawn to red ... here I have used Cherry Cobbler and Real Red inks for the blooms, and popped in some dramatic black tulips.

Here's a closer look at the excessive use of bling (ha ha):

Inside the card I have stamped this gorgeous sentiment.  Doesn't it just sum up what a happy birthday should be?

I have listed below all the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, just click on one of the thumbnail images, to be taken direct to my online store.

STAMPIN' UP! BEAUTIFUL BOUQUET WITH EMBOSSING PASTE BACKGROUND

I used Embossing Paste, and the brick patterned mask, from Stampin' Up! to create the background piece for my card today.

Normally I'd stick to two or three colours on a card, but I went a little overboard with this one!

Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products used to make this card.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, clicking on one of the thumbnail images below will take you direct to my online store.  I hope this bright, happy, card puts a smile on your face.  I had a lot of fun making it!
