STAMPIN' UP! WOVEN TEXTURES THANK YOU CARD

The first step in making this card, was to cut several 1.5cm-wide strips of Woven Textures Designer Series Paper. I adhered them to a piece of Basic White card.  Using a Spotlight on Nature Die, I then cut what I call the "paper plate" circle; this forms the centrepiece of my card.

Because the patterns in this paper are so detailed, I have kept my card design simple.  The sentiment is one big, fabulous, stamp, called Thanking You.  I stamped it in Versamark ink on Early Espresso card, and heat-embossed it in white.  Using Paper Snips, I fussy-cut it before sticking it on top of the patterned circle.

Here's a closer look at the details.  The Basic White card panel has been embossed with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder.  Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots are a great embellishment to use on "guy", or earthy-toned, cards.

The card base is Early Espresso, so I added a Basic White panel inside the card.  It's decorated with a strip of the same DSP that I used behind the Basic White layer on my card front.
