STAMPIN' UP! FAVORED FLOWERS BIRTHDAY CARD #5

Here's another birthday card I made using the Calypso Coral and Petal Pink flowers, hand-cut from Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper.

After adhering the vertical strip of Calypso Coral paper to the background of Petal Pink Paper, I sponged around the edges with Petal Pink ink.  These layers were added to a panel of Calypso Coral Card.  I wrapped a length of Petal Pink Soft Polyester Ribbon around the card front layers, before sticking everything down onto a Thick Basic White card base.

I glued the hand-cut floral spray onto my card, and added a bow made from the same Petal Pink ribbon.  Glue Dots are great for sticking down bows; I usually use a few, under and around the knot, and sometimes under the bow tails, to ensure the ribbon stays put.

The sentiment, from the Amazing Year stamp set, was stamped in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White card.  A Stylish Shapes circle die was used to cut it out, and I matted it onto an Early Evergreen scalloped circle, cut using a Layering Circles Die.  A few Petal Pink Elegant Faceted Gems finish off my card.
