STAMPIN' UP! MASCULINE BIRTHDAY CARD - FAUX PATCHWORK

 It's an exciting time in the Stampin' Up! world, with the release this week of our new Annual Catalogue.  I have used a few new products on the card I'm sharing with you today.

I am in LOVE with the new He's The Man Designer Series Paper!  I've employed a faux patchwork technique on my card, to show off the variety of designs and colours in this paper pack.

Using the smallest square die from the new Stylish Shapes Dies, I cut a number of squares of patterned paper.  I adhered them to a rectangular panel of Sahara Sand card, trimming the overhanging pieces, and mounted this panel on a Stitched Rectangle of Soft Succulent card.

The card base is Early Espresso, and I have covered most of the card front with a piece of Early Espresso patterned paper, sponged around the edges with Early Espresso ink.

The sentiment, from Slim Sayings, was stamped in Early Espresso ink on a strip of Sahara Sand card, which I sponged around the edges with Sahara Sand ink.  

Check out the gorgeous "argyle" die cuts in Sahara Sand card, that were created using All That Dies (these will be well-used in my craft room!).  Rustic Metallic Dots were added in various places on my card, to finish off.

I had some die-cut squares of the patterned paper left over, so added them to the bottom of the Sahara Sand card panel inside my card.  I also added a decorative strip, cut using Blossoming Happiness Dies, from Soft Succulent card:
