JAI #328: STAMPIN' UP! VERTICAL GREETINGS

Tina is challenging us, at Just Add Ink this week, to "Just Add P" to a papercraft project.

My brainstorming efforts, for anything starting with P, resulted in a shortlist of pinks, purples, plants, and paper-piercing.  Here's the colour scheme I have used:

This is the first card I have made with the awesome Vertical Greetings stamp set, that has the cutest topiaries as well as several vertical sentiments:

I grounded the plants by inking up, in Crumb Cake ink, a little swish stamp from Playful Backgrounds, stamping it off on scrap paper, then stamping onto the Whisper White card.  I then popped up the plant pots, using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I have laid two pieces of the gorgeous Sweet Sugarplum glitter ribbon across the DSP panel, as I wanted a wider band than one strip gave.  A knotted piece of the same ribbon has been adhered to the layered ribbon, as a finishing touch.

Make sure you check out the rest of the Just Add Ink Design Team's "P" creations.  We would love for you to make your own, and link it up over at the Just Add Ink site.

If you would like to buy any of the items I've used on today's card, just click on one of the thumbnail images below, and you'll be taken to my online store (for shopping in Australia only).

Thanks for visiting today, and, if you're in the southern hemisphere, I hope you are as happy as I am, that Spring is here!
