How calming are those beautiful neutrals? I drew inspiration from the colours/shades, recurring stripey patterns, and the vase holding pale green foliage. Here's what I came up with:
I've used quite a mix of stamps and patterns/textures on my card. All the "ingredients" used are listed below, and if you click on any of the thumbnail images, you can visit my online store, to buy them for yourself. (The exception is the Floral Wings stamp set, which may be earned for free, with a qualifying order.)
The other Just Add Ink Design Team members have come up with some awesome creations, inspired by the pictures above; be sure to check them out over at our challenge blog.
Hi Christine, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, I hope you had a great day,
ReplyDeleteI love your card, it has turned out very pretty, love the colours. Cheers Anna.
You captured the spirit of the inspiration picture beautifully Christine. I hadn't even noticed the vase but I love the gentle splash of colour and serenity your one adds. xxx
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, Christine, and a great take on the inspiration pic! Love your vase of foliage - so clever!
ReplyDeleteUsing the Zig-Zag embossing folder was perfect to pick up the chevron design. Love the subtleness of the Chalk Lines stamped image and the beautiful Jute ribbon. The vase is perfection too! Well done, my friend!!
ReplyDeleteThis is just so elegant Christine, I love that you fuss cut the plant as it just makes it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Christine! Love the spotty vase and the Mint Macaron leaves. Fantastic neutral tones. Love it! Rochelle xo
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and indeed calming Christine! I love the soft textures of the embossing and the twine and the fussy cut vase and foliage are simply gorgeous! Love it xo
ReplyDeleteI love how you took different elements & colours from both pics & made them your own. Such a sweet card with lots of lovely details & texture (& fussy cutting too!)
ReplyDeleteHugs, D
I'm not sure where all my comments are going!? This is gorgeous Christine! Love the vase and now I think I need that embossing folder too!!
