A few favourite products will be retiring before the new catalogue comes out. I've used Naturals White cardstock, and one of my favourite paper-piercing templates on this card; they're both going to retire on 2nd June. Thankfully, there will be awesome new replacements, so I'll try not to be too sad!
Trish has set a great challenge at Just Add Ink this week. Take a look at the gorgeous inspiration pics, for us to use as a starting block for a card or other papercraft project:
I've pulled out my somewhat neglected Island Indigo stampin' pad and cardstock, and used earthy neutrals to contrast with the bold colour. Here's my card for this week's challenge:
Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products used to make my card; if you click on any of the products, you'll be taken to my online store.
The rest of the Just Add Ink Design Team's creations are A-MA-ZING, so be sure to check them out here.
Well you certainly nailed the challenge - in more ways than one. Great colour scheme - lovely card.
ReplyDeleteHi Christine! Love how you captured the essence of the inspiration picture so well with those lovely branches in the background and the tree inside the die cut. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love how perfectly this conveys your message Christine. It's stark but soft and all the texture is subtle and adds such an oomph of colour. xxx
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely details Christine I just love this! The background stamping is a fabulous contrast to the softer tree. And love your paper piercing and die cut for your greeting too xx
ReplyDeleteLove how you've used the different elements Christine, especially the stamping and texture on your background panel...Lovely! xx
ReplyDeleteI love your card for this challenge Christine, especially the use of that gorgeous tree. I can't believe I don't have that one! Miss rooming with you and my other JAI girls. The house seems especially quiet this week :(
ReplyDeleteOh, that tree is so pretty Christine. Love the dry embossing and stamping on the background.
ReplyDeleteGreat card Christine! Love all the layers and elements! The stamped layer behind the tree is fantastic!
