At Regionals, a number of demonstrators swapped cards/ card fronts, to share ideas on how to use Stampin' Up! products. I've come home with some amazing creations, that have inspired me to do some 'different' things. Here is my card, that my swaps were based on:
Card: Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla
Ink: Real Red, Always Artichoke, Old Olive
DSP: Ski Slope
Other: Real Red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, sponge dauber, Real Red & Always Artichoke brads, dimensionals
Once I arrived home from Regionals, I was looking forward to an easy dinner and relaxing at home. However, my accident-prone husband (who is on Warfarin and has an unstable blood clot in his leg), had a fall and rolled his ankle - it was swollen and we suspected fractured, so off to hospital we went! Thankfully it turned out to be a sprain; it is now bandaged and we are back home. A more eventful end to the day than I needed!
Hope you like the card - I'm rather fond of it myself!
Lovely festive card :) Hope you've managed to get some rest today, and thanks for the bonus package I got to play with yesterday (waving to Ethan). Very good thing that Andrew didn't break his ankle, although I expect the Warfarin would facilitate some spectacular bruising. Perhaps you could check his ankle each day for unusual colour combinations ... yes, everything comes back to cardmaking, doesn't it?! Love you, sis xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the card Christine and it was so nice to finally meet in person at Regionals. Hope hubby is on the mend. Cheers, Sue
ReplyDeleteStunning Card Christine - love it!
ReplyDeleteHey Christine,
ReplyDeleteYour card would have to have been one of the standouts at the regionals. Just amazing! The photo doesn't even do it justice and it looks incredible in that. lol.
Thanks for joining my blog - posted heaps this weekend! I'm not usually so creative in one hit, but I ran with it and took the opportunity while I could.
Thanks again.
Hi Christine,
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you left your lovely comment on my blog, because it meant that I followed your link and found this STUNNING card! This is gorgeous! I'll definitely be using this for inspiration!
