STAMPIN' UP! FAVORED FLOWERS BIRTHDAY CARD #4

Today's Favored Flowers shares are birthday cards made with the Calypso Coral and Petal Pink flowers and papers in this free* pack of papers.  (*$90+ Stampin' Up! purchase qualifies you for the freebie, only until tomorrow.)

In addition to the fussy-cut flowers, I used three different papers from the Favored Flowers pack.  Using a Stylish Shapes Die, I cut a square from Petal Pink geometric-patterned paper to anchor the hand-cut blooms.  I added Elegant Faceted Gems to embellish.

The sentiment was created with the Something Fancy bundle.  I first stamped the words in Calypso Coral ink, on a strip of the same paper used for the square above.  I then used a co-ordinating die to crop it.  Some knotted White Crinkled Seam Binding divides the different patterned papers.

STAMPIN' UP! FAVORED FLOWERS THANK YOU CARD #2

Here is the second "thank you" card I made with Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper.  I am loving the combination of Blackberry Bliss and Fresh Freesia, and how Stampin' Up! has so many lovely elements that work beautifully with these papers.

I have used two different patterned papers for my background, matted on a layer of Blackberry Bliss card.  Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon separates the two patterned papers.

I glued the large floral spray, and three smaller roses, to my card front.

On a piece of Basic White card, I stamped a rose from the Fragrant Flowers stamp set using Fresh Freesia ink.  Over the top of that, I stamped the sentiment, from Charming Sentiments, in Blackberry Bliss ink.  I used Beautiful Shapes Dies to cut the hexagon shape, then sponged Fresh Freesia ink around the edges.

A few Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems were dotted around the card front.  Such a pretty embellishment, don't you think?

STAMPIN' UP! FAVORED FLOWERS THANK YOU CARD #1

Today I have some "thank you" cards to share, showing off the lovely hand-cut flowers from Stampin' Up!'s Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper pack.  If you'd like to get these papers for free, you will need to order $90+ of product before the end of February.

I sponged the edges of the Fresh Freesia background paper, with Fresh Freesia ink, before adhering it to the Blackberry Bliss card layer.  All the flowers and leaves on this card were fussy-cut from a sheet of Favored Flowers paper.

The sentiment was created using the Fragrant Flowers bundle.  I stamped the beautiful, bold, word in Blackberry Bliss ink on Basic White card, using the Stamparatus.  I cut it out using one of the co-ordinating sentiment dies, then decided it looked too stark in white.  Using a blending brush, I added Fresh Freesia ink to the sentiment label.  I then randomly stamped the background detail, and sponged the edges of the label with Fresh Freesia ink and a sponge dauber.

After adhering the flowers with Liquid Glue, I trimmed the edges so there was no overhang over the background layer.  I added a Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon bow, and some tiny Fresh Freesia Loose Flower Flourishes.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies (and earn this paper for free before the end of February), you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

Later today I will share another "thank you" card in my Favored Flowers series.  I hope you'll come back to visit!
