STAMPIN' UP! PLENTIFUL PLANTS HANGING BASKETS THANK YOU CARD

Today I have another Plentiful Plants card to share with you.  Recently I spent a weekend away on a craft retreat, and created lots of cards; I hope you're enjoying what I've made.

The background on which my plant pots hang is a Paper Lattice, which is kraft/Crumb Cake coloured.  I used a Blending Brush and Early Espresso inkpad to colour it darker, to give more contrast against the background paper.

I stamped my plant pots in Melon Mambo ink, on the same Gray Granite paper that I've used behind the Paper Lattice.  The leaves/plants were die cut and fussy-cut from Bloom Where You're Planted Designer Series Paper.

I added some Gray Granite twine, and Elegant Faceted Gems, to the die-cut hanging baskets.

The sentiment was stamped in Melon Mambo ink on a scrap of Basic White card, and cut out using a Scalloped Contours Die.

STAMPIN' UP! ARTISTICALLY INKED BRIGHT "FRIEND" CARD

 My card today again uses this lovely bright colour combination:

I had a piece of stamped background left over from yesterday's card, so I cropped that using a Tailor Made Tags Die.  I stamped, in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, the bold "friend" sentiment from Biggest Wish directly onto the tag.  On another tiny scrap of the leftover stamped panel, I stamped a sentiment from Sending Hugs, and cut it out using the co-ordinating label die from the Sending Hugs bundle.  I reinforced the hole on the tag with a piece cut from Gold Foil.

The Bermuda Bay background was created first by stamping, in Bermuda Bay ink, the largest image from the Sending Hugs stamp set.  I die-cut the card piece using an Ornate Layers Die, then gold-embossed some of the dotty images from the Artistically Inked stamp set, scattered around the outer edges of the Bermuda Bay card panel.  

After adhering the tag to the background, I stamped and die-cut some flowers and leaves, using the Artistically Inked bundle.  You may be able to see that the Melon Mambo mat in the background has been embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.
