STAMPIN' UP! LOVE & AFFECTION ... AND AFFECTIONATELY YOURS

Another pack of paper that I have hardly cut into is the Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper, designed to team with the Love & Affection suite of products.

My card today features some of the bold navy floral paper.  Because it has a busy design, I have kept the rest of my card simple.  I used inks in the colours in the paper to stamp some flowers and leaves (using the masking technique), and attached a sentiment and some sweet ribbon.  The Daffodil Delight double-stitched ribbon is a new product that will be out in June.

I decorated the inside of the card with some sweet floral washi tape:

STAMPIN' UP! BY THE SHORE CARD 2

My share today is another masculine card, using By the Shore Designer Series Paper.  I didn't want to get to the end of this month, and have the paper retire, without making an effort to use it!  I'm rather in the habit of buying LOTS of Stampin' Up! stuff, because I love to have it ... but am guilty of not using it as I should.

This card includes some circular elements, that made me think of a porthole ... I hope you can see where I was going with that!

STAMPIN' UP! BY THE SHORE CARD 1

We're into the last month of our current Stampin' Up! catalogue, so I have chosen to show some love to some Designer Series Paper collections that I have barely used.

Today and tomorrow I have a couple of cards to share with you, that were made with the By The Shore papers.  I'm not much for fish and underwater scenes, so found this paper a little challenging to work with.  However, I do like stripes, and balloons, for masculine cards, so that's my focus in today's share.  Here's what I came up with, along with the new Happy Birthday thinlits die that will be available from 1st June:
