STAMPIN' UP! LOVELY LATTICE WATERCOLOURED BIRTHDAY CARD

Lovely Lattice is one of the stamp sets you can choose for free, with an order of $90+ of Stampin' Up! product, until the end of March.  It's a beautiful, delicate, stamp set.  On today's card, I white-embossed the floral/lattice image on Shimmery White card, then used aquapainters, and Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow and Sahara Sand inks, to add colour.  The sentiment was created with the new Well Said bundle of products - an awesome combination of text-style stamps, and scripty complementary word dies.

Here's a close-up of the sentiment, and the subtly patterned DSP on which I stamped the small flower from the Lovely Lattice stamp set:

All of the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card are listed below.  If you click on one of the thumbnail images, you'll be taken direct to my online store.  I would love for you to shop with me, if you live in Australia, and don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

Posting on my blog may continue to be rather sporadic (if you're a follower of my blog, you are probably quite used to that already), as family issues consume a fair bit of my time and emotional energy at the moment.  Life is mostly good ... just a little challenging.  I'll certainly share whenever I've had a chance to get creative.

STAMPIN' UP! WONDERFUL ROMANCE CARD MADE FROM SCRAPS

There's not much crafting happening in my corner of the world at the moment.  I have just returned from New Zealand, where I was privileged to be closely involved in the last days of my much-loved aunty's life.  It was a very special time with my extended family.

Before I went away, I challenged myself to use up (rather than my default action of throwing away) several "bits and pieces" left over from an earlier craft session.  I had a coloured and die-cut floral spray, a strip of Petal Pink card that I'd embossed with the Subtle embossing folder, a piece of speckled DSP, a lone baker's twine bow, and a piece of Whisper White card that I'd embossed with a leafy edgelit die, in a failed attempt at cutting (I put the card through my Big Shot the wrong way!).  I really love how all these scraps came together:

Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, and you live in Australia (and don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator), I would love for you to shop with me.  You can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  Tomorrow I'll be sharing another card I made before going away ... while I was still in a phase of using Petal Pink!
