THE HEART OF CHRISTMAS #13: STAMPIN' UP! HEARTS COME HOME BUNDLE

I'm taking part in a team share today, of Christmas card ideas using Stampin' Up! products.  You can see a list of all who are participating in Week 13 of The Heart of Christmas, on Claire's blog.

My card is a simple design (read: easy to create multiples!) using a colour combo I love, and showcasing my favourite bundle of products from the upcoming Holiday Catalogue, that goes live on 1st September.    The bundle is called the Hearts Come Home bundle, comprising a gorgeous stamp set and utterly delightful co-ordinating edgelits.   I need a little more practise with the stars die, to die-cut the cute starry sky without getting an impression of the die's outline!  Just blur your eyes a bit, and you'll never notice, LOL.

I have listed below all the Stampin' Up! products, used on this card, available from my online store.  NB: The stamp set, edgelits dies, and Designer Series Paper will be available for purchase from 1st September.
Clicking on any of the thumbnail images will take you direct to my store, to go shopping, if you just have to have these products for yourself. :)

We hope you enjoy our Christmas shares today.  We'd love it if you visited each of our blogs, and left some comment love.

THE HEART OF CHRISTMAS #12: STAMPIN' UP! EVERY GOOD WISH & YEAR OF CHEER

Today I am joining with some other Stampin' Up! demonstrators, in Claire Daly's Art With Heart team, to share Christmas creations made with Stampin' Up!'s gorgeous products.

I am thrilled to now be in possession of a whole lot of new goodies, that I was able to pre-order ahead of the Holiday Catalogue release on 1st September.  My shares today are very simple designs, all about the metallics.  There is a gorgeous suite of products, called Year of Cheer, in the upcoming catalogue, incorporating copper, champagne, gold and silver elements.  Stunning!

Here's the design I have chosen as one that will be easy to make multiples of.  The design on the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper is just so lush ... not much more is needed!

Here's a close-up, that better shows the copper-embossed sentiment, which is from a new stamp set called Every Good Wish:

The scalloped circle peeking out from behind the sentiment circle is (despite looking rather silver!) the new Champagne Foil sheet.  It is beautiful, and perfectly complements the champagne-coloured berries on the Designer Series Paper.  I have laid two strips of copper washi tape across the card, before adhering the circular elements.

While I had these supplies out, I made a slight variation of the above design.  I used different washi tape from the Year of Cheer Designer Washi assortment ... this one has a bit of a holographic look, with copper, silver, gold and champagne in the patterns.  I worked some Copper trim out into a webbed look ... I was going for a stylised representation of holly, with rhinestones as berries.

.... and a close-up of the ribbon treatment:

We'd love for you to visit all the blogs in this week's Heart of Christmas share, and we welcome your comments!  Hopefully you'll come away with lots of inspiration for your own Christmas cards.  You will find a comprehensive list of everyone taking part, on Claire's blog.

I can't yet link, to my online store, to the newest products (you'll be able to order them from 1st September), but I have listed below the current Stampin' Up! products used on my cards.

THE HEART OF CHRISTMAS #11: STAMPIN' UP! SANTA'S SLEIGH

I'm back with a Christmas card share, as part of a team initiative started by my upline Claire Daly.  Members of our wider team join forces each Wednesday (when time and family commitments allow) to bring you ideas for Christmas projects, using Stampin' Up!'s beautiful products.

Whilst I was (not-so-patiently) awaiting delivery of some brand new Christmas products to play with this week, I decided to show my Santa's Sleigh stamp set and co-ordinating dies a bit of love.  I decided on Night of Navy as a feature colour on my card, and for it to have a slightly rustic, informal look.  Here's the end result:

I started by stamping the reindeer, bow, and presents onto Watercolour Paper, using (now-retired) Basic Black Craft Ink.  I clear-embossed the images, then watercoloured them, using ink pooled in the lids of my inkpads.   The presents were cut out by hand, but the rest of the elements were cut using the awesome Santa's Sleigh dies.  I am super-proud of how straight I managed to stamp the sentiment, without using a Stamp-a-Ma-Jig!

Listed below are all the products (minus the retired Basic Black inkpad) used to make this card.  I love how it turned out, and hope you do, too.   If you click on one of the thumbnail images below, you can visit my online Stampin' Up! store, to buy these lovely products for yourself, if you so desire!

Be sure to do the rounds of all my stamping friends taking part in today's Heart of Christmas share.  We would love for you to leave us some comments, so we know you have been to visit.  You'll find a comprehensive list of all participants on Claire's blog.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.
