Nikki has set us a great challenge at Just Add Ink this week.  We want you to add .... MUSTARD & METALLICS to your papercraft project.

Now, I thought our recent challenge to incorporate Garden Green was a tricky one!  I hardly use Stampin' Up!'s More Mustard, although I do love the richness of it.  I decided to go one step further and challenge myself to use only More Mustard, and a neutral, on my sample.

My card was made with a new stamp set, called Betsy's Blossoms, that will be available to purchase from tomorrow - woohoo!  As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I was able to pre-order this set; one of the many GREAT things about being a demonstrator.

Ready for a More Mustard overload????  Here it is!

Stamps: Betsy's Blossoms, Betsy's Blooms Stampin' Around wheel (both available 1st September), Memorable Moments (also new!), Just Believe
Card: More Mustard, Very Vanilla
Ink: Versamark inkpad, More Mustard stampin' pad and marker
Other: Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, Modern Label punch, Labels Collection Framelits, Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder, Very Vanilla seam binding, Color Spritzer tool, Clips assortment, Silver mini brad,  mini glue dots, sponge dauber

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's samples .... and we hope you'll join in the challenge!

  1. Hello, hello Lovely Christine!
Mate can I just say that you can NEVER, EVER have TOO MUCH MUSTARD! WOW what a challenge, I hope I make the time to play along, I LOOOOVVEEE MUSTARD!!! Totally the best colour, and may I say you have totally SUPER STARED with this card!! The white lifts it and the embossing with then the stamped heavier flowers too....
    SO LOVE IT!!!
    Hugs to you sweet lady,
    Smiles Sharnee :)

  2. What a great design for this challenge! I am not a big user of mustard either but love how you teamed it with vanilla! I am missing my demo benefits ... ESP at this time of the SU! Year! Bring on Sept! Hugs xxx

  3. Well I think we can safely say you made best friends with More Mustard Christine :) Love the texture of the embossing and how you got two tones of the flowers. Mixing MM with white was inspired! xxx

  4. Love the crisp ww against the mustard Christine and your use of the Memorable Moments frame and texture on the panels looks that you used so much MM. xxx

  5. Loving all that More Mustard Christine. I'm possibly going to have to buy that set now - it wasn't going to be in my first order, but I think I need to revise my list. Just gorgeous!

  6. You have nailed this challenge in one foul (bird)swoop Christine. Gorgeous & so very rich, but so crisp & alive with the White. Great card

  7. The richness of the mustard paired with the crispness of the white & the sheen of the silver hardware is just perfect, Christine. Love how you have used this stamp set! Hugs :)
