I have used Stampin' Up!'s Sweet Floral stamp, with markers. I coloured directly onto the rubber with Lucky Limeade, Melon Mambo and Poppy Parade markers, then spritzed the stamp with water before stamping it onto Whisper White card. A wash of Pool Party ink softens the background.
I was thrilled to have this perfect opportunity to play with my new silver flatback pearls - can you tell that I like them, much?!

Card: Pool Party, Whisper White, Melon Mambo

Did a double take then, thought you had taken up stitching! I do like the card, that would look effective done on fabric.

ReplyDeleteWow, this is so striking Christine. I, too, did not recognise the sweet floral stamp & had to go find it in the catty! Great use of a BG stamp. Love the two tone flowers, the two fancy border treatments, those cool silver pearls & the tiny hint of pool party. Hugs :)

HI Christine! Your silver pearls caught my eye. Silke Ledlow ... kindly bought some at 'Michaels' for me and sent them from the US. (She uses them all the time!) But ... I tend to hoard them because I have such a limited supply. Can you tell me where you got yours? I would love to source some more. Hugs xxx
