This week Trish has set a fun challenge for us at Just Add Ink ...... to add polka dots to our project.

It's entirely possible that my card contains "polka dot overkill", but I'm okay with that - love dots, and I had a lot of fun making this!  I chose my colours from the new Summer Smooches Designer Series Papers - bright and happy.

Stamps: Bright Blossoms, For My Family
Card: Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Island Indigo
DSP: Tangerine Tango Patterns Designer Series Paper and Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper
Ink: Island Indigo stampin' pad and marker, Tangerine Tango stampin' pad and marker, Rich Razzleberry stampin' pad and marker, Lucky Limeade and Daffodil Delight markers
Other: Labels Collection Framelits dies, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Daffodil Delight stitched grosgrain ribbon, Modern Label punch, In Color Designer brad, Mat Pack & Paper Piercing Tool, mini glue dots, Adorning Accents Edgelits die and embossing folder

Make sure you check out the gorgeous samples made by the rest of the Design Team for this week's challenge.  Who doesn't LOVE polka dots?!

  1. Christine you are allowed to go 'dotty' with this challenge, a great bright, cheery card indeed.

  2. Christine, you can never have too many polka dots - my favourite pattern! Love the colours you used on this card. Great layout.

  3. Your stuff is always so lovely Christine. Very inspiring :) Thank you.

  4. Spotty dotty bright and fun. A delightful happy card perfect for a birhtday :) xxx

  5. WOW so many dots on this card!! Very bright and cheery :)

  6. Great job with the spots, Christine! Very nicely done! Hugs xxx

  7. Love how you can make using so many colours look good together Christine. I like the amount of dots you've used on your card - imagine if you'd used dotted ribbon, that might've been overkill :)

  8. Love that you managed to use so many different polka dots and colours and make it look so good!
    So "NOT" overkill...:0) xxx

  9. I love all your dots too Christine! It is sure to make someone's birthday much happier.
