STAMPIN' UP! JUST ADD COLOR TEA CUP THANK YOU CARD

Welcome to the third instalment in my four-card series, of tea cup cards using Stampin' Up!'s Just Add Color Designer Series Paper.  I love the way this card turned out; I like the colour combo, and the stamping of the sentiment directly onto patterned paper.  It is a little hard to see in the photo, but I used a stamp from Touches of Texture to add a bit of nterest to the Pumpkin Pie cardstock.

The "thank you" is from a new stamp set, called Love What You Do, which is currently available as part of a bundle, and will be available to buy separately from 1st June.

Listed below are all the current Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, and you live in Australia, you can get to my online store by clicking on one of the thumbnail images below.

JAI #357: STAMPIN' UP! COLORFUL SEASONS, AND AN ANNOUNCEMENT

Jan has come up with a lovely colour challenge at Just Add Ink this week.  This challenge is bittersweet for me, as it is my last, as a member of the Just Add Ink Design Team.  I've been honoured to be part of the team for more than 5 years (and playing along long before that).  Life has thrown me a lot of personal challenges in recent months, and I need to channel my energies into getting myself strong and focussed for the future.  I hope that those of you who have followed me through Just Add Ink will continue to visit my blog as I enter this new phase of my life.

Now, onto the colour palette we have to create with:

I have chosen to use a stamp set that is coming out in the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue in June.  I was able to pre-order the set super-early, as a perk of being a demonstrator who attended a recent OnStage event.  There's a sentiment in this set, that really resonates me, particularly at the moment ... so I made a card, sort of for myself!

I know that even though I am going through a tough period, "this, too, shall pass".  Sometimes I just have to stop, breathe, and trust that everything will be okay!

Can you see the hint of shimmer, courtesy of the clear Wink of Stella pen, on some of the blossoms?

All of the current Stampin' Up! products used on this card are listed below.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, just click on one of the thumbnail images, to be taken to my online store (Australian residents only).  The Colorful Seasons bundle will be available for purchase on 1st June.

Be sure to check out the rest of the Just Add Ink Design Team's creations here; we love to know you've been to visit, so please leave some comment love!  We hope you are inspired to play along with this week's challenge.

JAI #322: STAMPIN' UP! TOUCHES OF TEXTURE

Rochelle has set a gorgeous colour challenge for us at Just Add Ink this week.

I've used my new Touches of Texture stamp set to make a birthday card in these colours.  I love the grungy look of some of the stamps in this set.  The "messy" look of the flowers really appeals to me - it's rather liberating to not be as particular as I normally am, about colouring in the lines!

This card started with me stamping the lacy background stamp in Blushing Bride (stamped off once, so it's very faint), all over the Very Vanilla card.  I stamped one flower stem and flower head in Chocolate Chip ink, then did a bit of masking to fit two more flowers across the card.  The leaves and petals are filled in with a few different stamps from the set.

Here is a close-up of the background, so you can see I did incorporate Blushing Bride on my card!

I am in love with that banner sentiment.  It's from Time of Year, which is a hostess stamp set, available only if you place an order over $250.  I love that it's one of several sets that co-ordinates with the Bunch of Banners framelits.  The small "Happy" is from the gorgeous Designer Tin of Cards stamp set.

Be sure to check out the rest of the Just Add Ink Design Team's creations.  It's awesome to see how different everyone's creations are, using the same colours.

Thanks for visiting my blog today!  I have listed below all the products used to make this card; by clicking on any of the thumbnails, you can visit my online store, to buy the products for yourself.
