STAMPIN' UP! BEE MY VALENTINE PETAL PINK FRIENDSHIP CARD

Today's card features the Bee My Valentine bundle, and Bee Mine Designer Series Papers.  Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet are not my go-to colours, but I still think this looks pretty cute!

The sentiment (from Hope You Know) was stamped on Basic White card, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I used the largest Adoring Hearts Die to cut around the sentiment in a heart shape.  I am in love with the Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers ... I think I need to buy another pack!

The Petal Pink scalloped border in between the honeycomb-patterned paper, and the paper with little bees on, was created using a Scalloped Contours Die.

The "star of the show" bee was stamped in Daffodil Delight and Memento Tuxedo Black inks, before being punched out.  The antennae were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and the wings in Petal Pink ink, then also punched out with the Bee Builder punch.

I added Black & White gingham ribbon to my card, and stamped some hearts in Sweet Sorbet ink, directly onto the Petal Pink DSP in the background.

STAMPIN' UP! BEE MY VALENTINE FRIENDSHIP CARD

Today's card features a stamped and punched-out bee created with the Bee My Valentine bundle.  I won't use most of the sentiments in this stamp set, but the images are very cute.  The co-ordinating Bee Mine Designer Series Paper is adorable.

The fabulous big sentiment on this card is from the Good Feelings stamp set.  I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, on Basic White card, and cut it out using a Deckled Rectangles Die.  I wanted to crop it closer to the size of the sentiment, so after cutting out the Deckled Rectangle, I moved the piece of card in the die, and ran it back through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.

In between the two patterned papers (that are matted on Daffodil Delight card), I added a Basic Black border, cut with a Scalloped Contours Die.  These dies are frame dies, but I often use them to cut borders, by placing a strip of card along the side of the frame.

Here's a (very!) close-up shot of the bee, stamped in Daffodil Delight and Memento Tuxedo Black inks before being punched out.  His antennae were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and punched out using the smaller of the two heart shapes in the Bee Builder punch.  I stamped the wing outlines in Petal Pink ink, then added the fill-in of the wings in Petal Pink ink, stamped off on a piece of scrap paper first (so it gave a lighter impression).  The wings were punched out with the larger heart shape in the punch.

Here's a closer look at the sweet little Adhesive-Backed Flowers added to the DSP.  I also used Daffodil Delight Adhesive-Backed Hearts, from the same pack ... you can see those in the photo of the full card, above.

I've listed below all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

STAMPIN' UP! BEE MINE THANK YOU CARD

Today's card showcases some of the adorable patterned papers in the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper pack.  They are designed to co-ordinate with the Bee My Valentine bundle, but I haven't used any of the stamped or punched images, other then a sentiment.

Just look at this sweet paper!  Here's a close-up of a little Adhesive-Backed Flower added, too:

I stamped the sentiment from Bee My Valentine in Versamark ink on a strip of Sweet Sorbet card.  After white heat-embossing it, I cut a scalloped edge using a Scalloped Contour Die.

On a piece of Basic Black card, I white heat-embossed the "thank you" from Just My Type, and cut the oval using an All That Die.  I smudged white ink on this piece, to give it a chalkboard look.

The Sweet Sorbet flower is another from the Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers pack.  In the main photo of my card, you'll see I added a Daffodil Delight heart to the bottom centre honey jar, too.  These embellishments are very cute.
