STAMPIN' UP! FESTIVE POST CARS CHRISTMAS CARD

Festive Post is a great stamp set that's designed to use with the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch.  I used the punch to make three panels, to go across the front of my card.  Two of the punched out Whisper White pieces have been stamped with the car image, and the centre piece stamped with sentiments and some other little stamps.  I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the cars, because I wanted the tyres and the tree outlines to be black.  I then stamped, on another piece of Whisper White card, one car in Misty Moonlight, and one in Poppy Parade.  I cut out the bodies of the cars, and glued them over the top of the black stamped images.  Sponging around the edges of the punched pieces, with Crumb Cake ink, helps give them a bit of warmth.  I love the "homely" look of this card!

STAMPIN' UP! FESTIVE POST REINDEER CHRISTMAS CARD

Festive Post is a stamp set designed to use with the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch.  I've used a few of the stamps on each panel, repeated three times.  The Designer Series Paper used on this card is from the Trimming the Town pack, and the sentiment is from the Banner Year stamp set.

I have listed below all the products I used to make this card.  They're available to purchase from my online store, if you live in Australia.  My store can be accessed, 24/7, by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  Over the next couple of days I'll have some non-Christmas shares!

STAMPIN' UP! CHRISTMAS CARD WITH CARS

There are some pretty cute car stamps in the Coming Home and Festive Post stamp sets.  The starting point for my card was the car in Festive Post, that has a Christmas tree tied to the roof.  I was inspired to pair this image with the car from Coming Home, and a small tree to go on its roof.  I used my Stamparatus to position the tree on top of the car that I coloured in blue ... I do wish I'd angled the tree a little downwards, and further forward, but I'll just plead artistic licence on this one!

I stamped the cars in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, on Whisper White card.  The car from Festive Post looked rather like a London taxi in black, so I stamped it again in Poppy Parade ink, on a scrap of Whisper White card. I fussy cut the Poppy Parade cars, and glued them over the top of the stamped images.  The other cars, from Coming Home, were coloured with Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends.

A couple of strips of Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper were laid across the Whisper White panel, above the cars.  I added a little wreath (just because I thought it was cute!), and a stamped sentiment from the Banner Year stamp set.

Those cars are pretty cute, don't you think?  (Please excuse the colouring and fussy-cutting boo boos I can now see, zoomed in!  LOL.)

All the products I used to make this card are available to buy from my online store.  If you live in Australia, and don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love for you to shop with me.
