STAMPIN' UP! IRRESISTIBLE BLOOMS THANK YOU CARD #2

Today's card is the second I made in my first proper play with the beautiful Irresistible Blooms bundle, and co-ordinating papers and gems.  The colours, and colour variations, in the papers are to die for.  

I stamped three flowers in Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White card, and coloured them using the Light Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blends marker.  The other two flowers were die-cut from the Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper.  All of the leaves were die-cut from papers, too.  LOVE that the dies beautifully cut out both stamped images, and images from the DSP.  

The sentiment was stamped in Lost Lagoon ink on Basic White card, and cut out using a Stylish Shapes Die.  I added Loose Frosted Dots (adhered with Liquid Glue) to the centres of the Pretty Peacock flowers.

The background papers are also from the Hello, Irresistible DSP pack.  I sponged around the edges of these pieces with Lost Lagoon and Soft Sea Foam inks.  They're mounted on a Lost Lagoon card panel that was also sponged with Lost Lagoon ink.

Some Petal Pink ribbon, from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack, adds an additional lighter touch.

Aren't these colours beautiful together?  I'm very taken with the combination, and look forward to lots more creating with this suite of products.

STAMPIN' UP! IRRESISTIBLE BLOOMS THANK YOU CARD #1

This year Stampin' Up! has introduced Online Exclusives to their product offerings.  The Irresistible Blooms bundle, and co-ordinating papers and gems, are not in a current catalogue, but are available to purchase ... and they're beautiful!  I have just had a really enjoyable session creating with them, and have made two thank you cards.  Here's the first one:

The beautiful Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper does most of the work on this card.  The only stamping is the single Lost Lagoon flower, and the sentiment.  The flowers in Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo tones are die-cut from the patterned paper, as are all the leaves.  Gorgeous, and versatile!

I stamped the middle flower in Lost Lagoon ink, on Basic White card.  After colouring it with the Light Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends marker, I cut it out using the same die that cut out the flowers from the DSP.    

The two patterned papers in the background are from the Hello, Irresistible DSP pack.  I mounted them on a slightly larger panel of Petal Pink card, that has been sponged around the edges with Petal Pink ink.

The sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White card, and cut out using a Nested Essentials Die.  I added some Loose Frosted Dots, and a bow made from Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon.

STAMPIN' UP! ADORABLE OWLS FRIENDSHIP CARD

I've used a couple of the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper sheets on this afternoon's Adorable Owls card.  Petal Pink, Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya threatened to look a little insipid, so I added pops of black in the design.

The owl was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White card, then coloured in with Smoky Slate, Granny Apple Green and Petal Pink Stampin' Blends.  Using the bullet point of the Stampin' Blends markers, I added some dots to the owl's face and tummy. I used a Mango Melody Stampin' Write Marker to colour the owl's feet and beak, and cut out the image using a Something Fancy Die.

My choice of embellishments for this card was Petal Pink Soft Polyester Ribbon, Loose Flower Flourishes, and Classic Matte Dots.

The sentiment, from Irresistible Blooms (one of Stampin' Up!'s Online Exclusives just launched this month), was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White card.  I used a Stitched Rectangle Die to crop the sentiment.

A dainty scalloped border was cut from Basic Black card using a Penned Flowers Die.
