STAMPIN' UP! FOREVER FERN FRIENDSHIP CARD IN CAJUN CRAZE

I was away on a craft retreat, just days before Melbourne went into lockdown, again (due to COVID-19), and thought I'd prepare for the Cajun Craze Colour Creations Showcase that I took part in last week.  I stamped some of the Forever Fern images in Cajun Craze ink, on Whisper White card, and stamped in Cajun Craze ink the Drybrush background, on a piece of Cajun Craze card.  I didn't end up putting these together for the Colour Creations Showcase, but thought I'd share with you the end result of my extended play with Cajun Craze.  I'm rather liking the inclusion of some Copper Foil, and Champagne Rhinestones:

After stamping the Drybrush background, I embossed the Cajun Craze card panel with the  Tasteful Textile embossing folder.  I added a knotted piece of Early Espresso Faux Suede trim to the stems of the leaf spray, and adhered a Linen Thread bow on top of that.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  They're available from my online store, if you would like to buy them for yourself.  Just click on any of the thumbnail images below to get to my store (Australian residents only).

STAMPIN' UP! HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS IN BERMUDA BAY

Today's card features two of my favourite stamp sets in the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.  I have stamped the Drybrush background stamp, in Bermuda Bay ink, onto Bermuda Bay card.  The big focal sentiment is from Happiest of Birthdays.

I put my Stamparatus to work for the sentiment, as I used Stampin' Write markers to colour direct to the rubber.  I started off colouring "Wish You The" in Coastal Cabana.  Because the markers aren't as intensely pigmented as ink pads, the first stamped impression is usually a bit faint.  I stamped each portion of the sentiment four times, to get good colour laydown.  After cleaning off my stamp, I then used the Bermuda Bay marker to colour the words "Happiest Of", and stamped that four times (re-colouring each time).  I cleaned the stamp again, and used a Basic Black marker to colour "Birthdays".  The Stamparatus is a fantastic tool to use for multi-coloured stamping like this.

The border die-cuts, and the Silver Foil bunting, were created with the Stitched Triangle Dies.  All the stars I've added, in Basic Black, Silver Foil, and Granny Apple Green, were cut using Stitched Stars Dies.

I am going to get a lot of use out of Stitched Triangles, Stitched Stars, and Stitched Rectangles, for masculine cards.
