STAMPIN' UP! LOVELY & SWEET CONGRATULATIONS CARD

The beautiful new Nature's Sweetness Designer Series Paper features heavily on the card I'm sharing with you today.  I have used three patterned papers from this pack - the gorgeous gold leafy design (used in the background, and for the small die-cut leaves), the gold and white grid pattern, and the main floral spray that was die-cut from a sheet of DSP.

I coloured the main image using Stampin' Blends markers - Mossy Meadow for the leaves, and Soft Sea Foam for the nuts that I am calling seed pods (creative licence!).  After fussy-cutting a couple of flowers from another piece of DSP, I popped them up on Stampin' Dimensionals.  The flower centres are Festive Pearls (Soft Succulent), that I coloured using the Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends marker.

To cut out the gold and white grid-patterned panel, I used a new Perennial Postage Die.  This piece was matted on a slightly larger piece of Mossy Meadow card.

The sentiment was gold heat-embossed on a piece of Basic White card, then cut out using a Sending Die.  I added three gold Festive Pearls to this strip.

STAMPIN' UP! SYMPATHY CARD FEATURING MOSSY MEADOW

HAPPY NEW YEAR, everyone! I am looking forward to 2024, and hope you are, too.

After a little break, we're back with weekly blog hops, showcasing Stampin' Up!'s colours in alphabetical order.  This week our focus is on Mossy Meadow.  I have made a card with the new Lovely & Sweet bundle, and Nature's Sweetness Designer Series Paper, that will be available to purchase from tomorrow.  I was able to pre-order these products before going on holiday over Christmas, so they were waiting for me to play with on my return.

This is the colour combination I chose, for my sympathy card:

The main floral spray is from the Nature's Sweetness DSP.  I used a co-ordinating Lovely & Sweet Die to cut it out.  The leaves to the right of the main floral spray were also cut from the DSP, but using a die from the new Notes of Nature Die set.  The leaves and flowers are those of an almond tree, but I have used creative licence in the colours used, to keep it simple and elegant.  I used Stampin' Blends markers in Mossy Meadow to colour the leaves, and Soft Sea Foam for the almonds/seed pods (as I'm calling them, for the purpose of this card!).

I fussy-cut two flowers from another part of the patterned paper, and added them to my die-cut piece using Stampin' Dimensionals. The flower centres are Iridescent Pearls, coloured with the Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends marker.

After embossing a strip of Basic White card with the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D embossing folder, I adhered it to a panel of gold and white patterned paper on a Thick Basic White card base.

The sentiment was gold heat-embossed on a piece of Soft Sea Foam card, and cut out using a Lovely & Sweet label die.  Here's a closer look at the delicate floral/leafy clusters I created.  The tiny white flowers, Soft Sea Foam sprigs, and gold DSP leaves were all cut out using Lovely & Sweet Dies.  The Mossy Meadow leafy sprigs were cut using a Notes of Nature Die.

Smaller Iridescent Pearls, coloured with my Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends marker, were used as centres for the tiny white flowers.

Next up on tonight's blog hop is Catherine Proctor:

On her blog, Cathy has a full list of participants in this week's blog hop, as she does for every Colour Creations blog hop that she co-ordinates for us.

Because the new products don't launch until tomorrow, I can't yet link to them in my online store.  I have, however,  listed below the current Stampin' Up! products used on my card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

While I had these supplies out, I made a second card.  I'll share it on my blog tomorrow. :)
