STAMPIN' UP! DANDELION WISHES CARD IN SOFT COLOURS

In an effort to use some of the stamp sets I have had for ages, but not used very much, I have made a card using Dandelion Wishes.  I love what I've come up with, and I hope you do, too. 😊

On three separate pieces of Whisper White card I stamped the triple dandelion image, once each in  Blushing Bride, Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam.  I then stamped the same image over the top of each, in Versamark ink, and embossed it with white embossing powder.  Using blending brushes, I added ink to each piece, using the same coloured ink I'd stamped the dandelions with.  I then cropped each little art piece into circles, using Stitched Shapes dies.

The sentiment was stamped (in Blushing Bride ink) on the Whisper White panel before I embossed it using my Subtle 3D embossing folder.  Sequins in soft pink, blue and green were added near each circle, and a crinkled seam binding bow finished off the card.

Listed below are the products I used to make my card.  They are all available to purchase from my online store (if you live in Australia).  I'd love for you to shop with me, if you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  You can get to my store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

Tonight I'll be sharing a Colour Creations Showcase card (we're working with Cherry Cobbler this week), so I hope you'll come back to visit.

STAMPIN' UP! DANDELION CARD IN MAGENTA MADNESS

For today's card, I teamed the Dandelion 3D embossing folder with Dandelion Wishes -  a neglected stamp set in my collection!  I've gone for a bright, but rustic look, incorporating Crumb cake card and Linen Thread with all the bright Magenta Madness elements.

After embossing a piece of vellum cardstock with the Dandelion embossing folder, I coloured the reverse side of the image with Magenta Madness and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends.  The vellum really toned down the brightness of both colours.  I like the irregularity of colour on the dandelion heads.  Once I'd coloured the reverse side, I dry-embossed the vellum panel using the Subtle 3D embossing folder, with the grain going sideways.  The vellum was a little bit warped after being embossed twice, so doesn't stick down nice and flat, but I can live with that!

On the sentiment panel, I heat-embossed the white sentiment on Magenta Madness card, and stamped some little flyaway dandelion heads in Magenta Madness ink.  I then used the Dandelion 3D embossing folder on this piece of card, too.

I finished the card by adding some Magenta Madness ribbon, Linen Thread, and Elegant Faceted Gems.

All of the products I used to make this card are available to purchase from my online store, which is open 24/7.  If you live in Australia, I would love for you to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies.  My online store can be reached by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
