STAMPIN' UP! FLORAL THANK YOU CARD IN FRESH FREESIA & GARDEN GREEN

I had fun making a card with some "bits" left over on my craft desk, from the last few blog hops I've participated in ... Fresh Freesia and Garden Green Colour Creations blog hops, and a Heart of Christmas blog hop.

I had some leftover die-cut flowers and leaves, from Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper, and a Basic White wreath cut using a Country Wreath Die.  After adhering a couple of different designs of Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper to a Fresh Freesia card mat, here's how I added all the other "bits":

In this photo, you can better see the die-cut flowers and leaves in the background:

I stamped the sentiment, from Flowering Tulips, in Fresh Freesia ink on Basic White card.  After cutting this out with a Stylish Shapes Die, I matted it on a Fresh Freesia decorative circe, die-cut using an All That Die.  These two circles were then layered onto the wreath die-cut.

I added Pastel Pearls to some of the flower centres, and Garden Green ribbon across the join of the two Designer Series Papers.

STAMPIN' UP! HAPPY FOREST FRIENDS THINKING OF YOU CARD #2

I'd like to share with you today the second card I made, in my first play session with the delightful Happy Forest Friends suite.  The waving bear is pretty cute, isn't he?  He's raised up on Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, to sit on top of the Linen Thread wound around the card front.

In addition to using some of the Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper on my card front, and for the little banners, I fussy-cut a couple of tiny birds from the paper, to use as accents on my card.

I perched one little bird on the tree stump on the patterned paper:

... and added the other bird to my sentiment "rosette".  The sentiment, stamped in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White card, is from the Flowering Tulips stamp set.  I cut it out using a Stylish Shapes Die, and added the two DSP banners that were created with an All That Die.

The sunshiney background is the Rays of Light stamp, in So Saffron ink on Basic White card.  A few Brushed Brass Butterflies were added, for even more happiness. :)

STAMPIN' UP! HAPPY FOREST FRIENDS THINKING OF YOU CARD #1

The new Happy Forest Friends suite, in Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalogue, is categorised as a "Kids & Baby" suite.  Pfft!  It's my favourite suite in the catalogue, just for its "everyday" cuteness!

Here's the first card I made with the Happier Than Happy bundle, and co-ordinating Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper.

The bear was stamped in Soft Suede ink on Basic White card, and die-cut.  Onto the Natural Finish Ribbon, I stamped (in Soft Suede ink) the little acorn, just 'cos I love a bit of theming!

The toadstools were stamped in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White card.  The tree stump was stamped in Soft Suede ink on Sahara Sand card, and the foliage stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on Old Olive card.  There are co-ordinating dies for each of these images.

I stamped a little grassy patch in Mossy Meadow ink, beneath the bear, to ground him.

The sentiment I've used is from the Flowering Tulips stamp set.  After stamping it, in Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White card, I cut it out using the oval die from All That Dies.  Behind the oval is an Old Olive piece, cut using a Beautiful Shapes oblong die.

The little acorn was stamped in Soft Suede ink on Sahara Sand card, die-cut, and adhered to a DSP banner created with one of the All That Dies.  A Linen Thread bow adds a finishing touch.

Even though "cutesy" is not normally my thing, I adore woodland creatures, and creating with these new products just makes me happy.  Expect to see lots more!
