STAMPIN' UP! FREE AS A BIRD "HELLO" CARD

This card nearly didn't make it to the final stages, as I couldn't settle on what colour to make the birds!  I initially coloured them with my Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends, then decided the yellow was too bright against the Crumb Cake background ... so I went over them with my Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.  The end result gives them a bit of an odd colouring, but I'm going with it!

I stamped the birds on a branch in Versamark ink, on Crumb Cake card, then heat embossed the image in white.  I used Stampin' Blends to colour the image.  I have used a couple of different pieces of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper on this card.  A Calypso Coral piece has been die cut and nested behind the bird panel.  The other paper is the floral design, from which I fussy cut some flowers to decorate the corners of the Stitched Nested Label dies.  After fussy cutting them, I sponged them with Crumb Cake ink.  I also sponged Crumb Cake ink over the embossed brick background.  Label Me Bold, the stamp set from which the sweet little sentiment comes, is retiring.  I'll miss it!

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, you can access my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

Over the next couple of days, I will be sharing more Free As A Bird cards.  I hope you'll come back to see.

STAMPIN' UP! PRESSED PETALS "FOR YOU" CARD IN NAVY

Today's card is a simple one, focussing on a panel of patterned paper from the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.  I started by cutting up this piece of paper, choosing the rectangular daisy piece in the top left:

I cropped the panel with one of the Ornate Layers dies, and added a few simple embellishments and a tiny sentiment.  The pearls I used have been coloured with the Dark Night of Navy Stampin' Blends.

Listed below are the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  Quick and easy, but pretty cute, don't you think?  I have one more design using another panel from the Designer Series Paper sheet, to share with you tomorrow.

STAMPIN' UP! ORNATE STYLE "HELLO" CARD IN MINT & TERRACOTTA

More flowery goodness from me today, courtesy of the lovely Ornate Garden suite of products that has been released early, ahead of our new Annual Catalogue release in June.  This card uses stamps, dies, Designer Series Papers, ribbon, and the embossing folder, from this suite.  So pretty, don't you think?  I wasn't at all convinced I needed this suite, until I started creating with it, and I'm a total convert - love it.

I thought Rococco Rose would be the best pink in our Stampin' Blends range, to use on the smaller flowers in the stamped image, but it came out a bit brighter than I would have liked.  Still, I think there's enough going on with all the busy detail that this doesn't necessarily stand out!   As with yesterday's card, I white-embossed the large floral spray on Shimmery White card, and coloured the image with Stampin' Blends.  I cut the panel a little smaller, using a Stitched Rectangles die, so it fit nicely inside the flourishy die cut.

Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I'd be very happy for you to shop with me.  My online store can be reached directly by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
