STAMPIN' UP! WINTER MEADOW CHRISTMAS CARD FEATURING MISTY MOONLIGHT

Since my focus was on Misty Moonlight for the last Colour Creations blog hop of the year last night, I made a Christmas card featuring this beautiful blue, and the other colours in the gorgeous Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper.

I started off by layering the leaf and berry patterned paper on a mat of Misty Moonlight card.  Across the middle of the patterned paper, I added a strip of another paper from the Winter Meadow DSP pack.

After colouring some Silver & White Sheer Ribbon with the Dark Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends marker, I laid one strip of the ribbon across the card and used the second strip to create the bow (which I added with Glue Dots).

The sentiment, from the Wishes All Around stamp set, was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on a piece of DSP from which I cut the main card front.  Hopefully you can see the slightly mottled/textured look in the close-up below.  I cropped the sentiment with a Stylish Shapes Die, and matted it on a Deckled Circle cut from another piece of Winter Meadow DSP.

Before gluing down the sentiment, I arranged some foliage die-cut from Moody Mauve cardstock, using a Gorgeously Made Die.

I have added some Misty Moonlight Tinsel Gems to some of the berries on the patterned paper, and a few Moody Mauve In Color Dots around the card front.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

HOC WEEK 2: STAMPIN' UP! WISHES ALL AROUND CHRISTMAS CARD

Last week, on my birthday, I received a big brown box containing all the new Stampin' Up! products I had pre-ordered from the upcoming Mini Catalogue ... the BEST birthday present!  If you are not a demonstrator, you'll be able to order these goodies from 6th September.  For tonight's blog hop, I thought I'd give you a sneak peek.

The starting point for my card was the beautiful, elegant, Shining Brightly Specialty Designer Series Paper, in Night of Navy, Very Vanilla and gold.  There is glorious Night of Navy and Gold Glittered Ribbon to go with it, and I've had my first play with the very cool Wishes All Around bundle, to create a wreath.

I am particularly taken with the Christmas tree wreath (one of three wreaths in this set).  I stamped it on Very Vanilla card, using Versamark ink, then heat-embossed it in gold.  The co-ordinating die cuts it out beautifully.  I stamped some extra little trees in Versamark, and embossed them in gold, and a few trees in Night of Navy ink.  This is a single stamp.

Here you can see how I added some trees with Stampin' Dimensionals, to the stamped wreath:

In between the two patterned papers, I laid some Night of Navy & Gold Glittered Ribbon across my card front.  I used the same ribbon to make the bow at the top of the wreath.

The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy ink on Very Vanilla card, and cut out with a Deckled Rectangles Die.  I added a couple of the gold-embossed, die-cut, trees to the sentiment panel.

I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to my card, just to make sure it's extra sparkly and shiny!

Next up on tonight's blog hop is Rosa Leyden.  If you click on the graphic below, you will be taken to her blog:

If you come across any broken links, or would like to see a comprehensive list of participants in this week's blog hop, head over to Sharon Davern's blog.  Sharon does a great job of co-ordinating our Heart of Christmas blog hops.

Whilst I can't link to the new products in my online store yet, I have listed below the current Stampin' Up! products used on my card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
