STAMPIN' UP! CAKE SOIREE 50th BIRTHDAY CARD

As this post goes live, I am in New Zealand, surprising a dear lifelong friend for her 50th birthday!

My friend is rather partial to yellow (especially yellow flowers), so I'm hoping this card I made her is a hit.  The jumping-off point, when it came to making the card, was the panel with embossed roses.  On Shimmery White card, I used a Sweet Soiree Decorative Mask and Shimmery White Embossing Paste, that I'd coloured with Daffodil Delight reinker.  The end result is a very shimmery, textural, card.

PETAL PALETTE BIRTHDAY CARD IN PUMPKIN PIE

Today's share is the last (for now) in my series of Petal Palette cards, that came together after I stamped, die-cut and coloured several lots of flowers.

The main Whisper White panel is embossed using the gorgeous new Basket Weave embossing folder - able to be earned for free, in a bundle with a delightful stamp set, if you place a $180+ Stampin' Up! product order before the end of March.  This is one of Stampin' Up!'s "dynamic" embossing folders, which gives a really deep, 3-D, impression.  I love it!

STAMPIN' UP! SWEET SOIREE BIRTHDAY CARD IN POWDER PINK

The hero of today's card is the gorgeous Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper.  This paper is so pretty, it needs little embellishment.

I have simply embossed a sentiment on some Powder Pink card, that I also stamped with roses from the Cake Soiree stamp set.  I added a bit of beautiful shimmer ribbon, and the card was done!

I love how pretty this card is, and hope you do, too.  Stampin' Up!'s products really do make it simple to create a gorgeous card, even with little effort.
