STAMPIN' UP! PINK RIBBON CARDS - PART 3

Today I have to show you the final two of eight designs I came up with, for cards I donated to the breast cancer fundraiser I attend every year - but not this year!  I really missed being there on the day ... but look forward to next year already.  It's always a fantastic, rewarding, event.

STAMPIN' UP! PINK RIBBON CARDS FOR A BREAST CANCER FUNDRAISER

For a number of years, I have supported and attended an annual fundraiser, for breast cancer research, run by my tireless friend Karen.  This year, I am unable to attend, as it falls smack-bang in the middle of my month-long overseas trip.

I made 60 cards, to be sold at the event, to contribute to the day's takings.  There are eight designs I'd like to share with you, so I will break them up over three blog posts, so you don't feel too bombarded by photos!  I used up all my retired Powder Pink cardstock to make these cards, and used the retired Ribbon of Courage stamp set.

Here are the first few designs:

Tomorrow I will show you a few more of the designs I came up with.  I hope I can give you some inspiration, if you are needing or wanting to make cards for someone battling cancer.

PINK RIBBON CARDS WITH STAMPIN' UP! RIBBON OF COURAGE

Today I attended an annual Pink Ribbon event - a fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation - that I've been supporting for several years.  One of my dearest friends died of breast cancer almost 13 years ago, so this is a cause very dear to my heart.

This year, as well as organising a table of 10 wonderful women to support the cause, I made 30 cards, that were sold at the event, as my small contribution to the amazing end result.  Over $29,000 was raised today!  The organisers put so much work into this event, and it is wonderful to see higher numbers raised, year on year.

I made 6 each of 5 different card designs, using Stampin' Up!'s fantastic Ribbon of Courage stamp set, and Powder Pink cardstock and ink.  Here are the designs I came up with:

Listed below are the various products I used to make these cards.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, to make similar cards, I would love for you to shop with me (Australian residents only).  To get to my online store, just click on one of the thumbnail images below.

STAMPIN' UP! JUST ADD COLOR FRIENDSHIP CARD

Have you seen the Just Add Color Designer Series Paper, in Stampin' Up!'s range?  It is a pack of 12"x12" sheets of designs just waiting to be coloured.

Here is the uncoloured sheet I chose to work with:

I used my Stampin' Blends (alcohol markers) in Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral and Bermuda Bay, to colour the whole sheet, giving this result:

I made five cards using the finished sheet ... I will share a few of them with you in the coming days.

Here is the first card I came up with.  The glorious Bermuda Bay stitched satin ribbon will be retiring at the end of this month, which makes me a bit sad!

Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, and you live in Australia, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail product images.

Please come back tomorrow, to see a birthday card I made using this sheet of paper.
