STAMPIN' UP! TIMELESS ARRANGEMENTS & GORGEOUS GARDEN ANNIVERSARY CARD IN COASTAL CABANA

This week's Colour Creations blog hop is all about Coastal Cabana, which is an aqua in Stampin' Up!'s Brights collection.  I struggle a bit with this colour, but really love the look of it with Crumb Cake and Basic White.

My card features the Gorgeous Garden Dies ... and aren't they just gorgeous?!  I die-cut the main panel from Coastal Cabana card, and layered it onto another layer of Coastal Cabana card.

The sentiment, from the Ringed With Nature stamp set, was stamped in Versamark ink on a scrap of Coastal Cabana card, then heat-embossed in white.  I used a Timeless Arrangements Die to cut the label.  The pierced holes, and cross-stitches, are a little less than perfect, because I ran the label through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine twice (moving the die after the first pass), to cut the label down to size.

The beautiful sparkly gems are from the Faceted Gems Trio Pack, coming out in the new Mini Catalogue on 6th September.

Various "bits" of foliage were cut from Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake and Basic White card, using the Timeless Arrangements Dies.  The sentiment, stamped in Coastal Cabana ink (with "stamped off" Crumb Cake grungy circles), was created with the Timeless Arrangements bundle, too.  I sponged around the sentiment die-cut label with Crumb Cake ink, before arranging and adhering all the foliage underneath it.

Using a Scalloped Contours Die, I cut a piece of Basic White card to create a border for the bottom edge of my main art panel.  The die cuts a scalloped rectangle, so I just used Paper Snips to trim the length I needed.

STAMPIN' UP! TIMELESS ARRANGEMENTS CARD IN BOHO BLUE

I am really happy, after more than 5 months away, to be back participating in the Colour Creations blog hops.  To start off this new round, we are going to first focus on the five beautiful new In Colors that will be in Stampin' Up!'s range from 2023 to 2025.  The colour we're starting with is Boho Blue.

The new Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper is just SO beautiful!  I've used three of the patterned papers on my card, teaming Boho Blue with Misty Moonlight and Basic White.

My card is a Thick Basic White card base, and I've matted the Designer Series Papers on a panel of Boho Blue card.  I used a Scalloped Contours Die to cut a deckled rectangle of DSP; this forms a base for the floral arrangement created with the Timeless Arrangements bundle.  The flowers were stamped in Misty Moonlight ink, and coloured with Boho Blue Stampin' Blends.  The two stamped leafy sprigs were stamped in Boho Blue ink, and coloured also with Boho Blue Stampin' Blends.  The other die-cut foliage was cut from Basic White, Boho Blue and Misty Moonlight card scraps.

In this photo, you can see the gorgeous Boho Blue Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems, which I've used along with Iridescent Pearls to decorate my card.

On Basic White card, I stamped the sentiment in Boho Blue and Misty Moonlight ink.  The words "just can't enough" are on one stamp, so I stamped those first.  Because the stamps are photopolymer, I was able to easily line up the "thank you" (inked in Misty Moonlight) in the gap between the two lines.  I am in love with the pierced-edge rectangle dies that include little cross-stitch details on each side.  Whilst we're on the subject of new products I love, check out that Boho Blue Textured Ribbon.  It's rather lush!

I adhered the sentiment label on the scalloped rectangle, so some scallops show beneath.  After laying down the ribbon, and sticking down the bow with glue dots, I adhered all the layers to the card base.  A few Iridescent Pearls added to flower centres on the "tree" paper finished off the design.
