STAMPIN' UP! CHRISTMAS GLEAMING IN JUST JADE & POPPY PARADE

 After taking part in last night's Colour Creations Showcase, featuring Just Jade, I decided I wanted to use that lovely green on another card.  Here's the colour combination I chose, for a Christmas card:

I stamped three ornaments, using the two larger designs in the Christmas Gleaming stamp set, in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, on Whisper White card.  I coloured them using the Poppy Parade and Just Jade Stampin' Blends markers.  

The bows for the two red ornaments are from the Curvy Christmas stamp set, that is coming out on 3rd November.  I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on scraps of Whisper White card, then coloured them with my Just Jade Stampin' Blends markers.  After fussy-cutting the bows, I applied Shimmery Crystal Effects, to give them a bit of texture and interest.  It would have been too crowded if I had added a bow to the middle ornament, so I "hung" it from a string of Just Jade enamel dots.

The curved, scalloped, borders above and below the central panel were cut from Whisper White card, using Envelope Dies.

STAMPIN' UP! HEARTWARMING HUGS ORNAMENT & WREATH CHRISTMAS CARD

Today I have another Christmas card to share with you.  I have again used Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper, and the beautiful Christmas Gleaming stamp set.

This card came together with the help of a few scraps I had on my crafting table.  I have over time cut out several wreaths, using the Wreath Builder Dies, in different coloured cardstock.  It just so happened that I had a wreath in Pear Pizzazz, and another in Mossy Meadow, that worked perfectly for my card.  I also had a Real Red bow cut using the same dies, that I hadn't yet used on a project.

I've used a single ornament, white-embossed on Real Red card, as the focal point for my card today.  It hangs nicely inside the layered wreaths.  A flagged banner of Whisper White card has been dry-embossed with a Wrapped in Texture embossing folder, and provides a crisp break between the wreaths and the patterned paper.
