JAI #225: STAMPIN' UP! PETITE PETALS & HEXAGON HIVE

For this week's Just Add Ink challenge, Patrice has come up with this awesome colour combination  to use on our papercraft projects:

 

 

I very seldom use So Saffron, but really enjoyed playing with this colour combo.  I have been dying to use my new Back to Black Designer Series Paper, so that was my "jumping off point" for my card.  I've stamped the Woodgrain background stamp on both the Hexagon Hive die cut panel, and the Deco Label on which the sentiment is mounted.  Here's my card for this week's challenge:

STAMPIN' UP! LANGUAGE OF LOVE FOR C4C220

The current challenge at Crazy4Challenges is to use the following colours on a Valentine's Day card:

We don't "do" Valentine's, but I do like to tell people in my life how I feel about them, so I came up with a card using the soon-to-be-released (tomorrow, in fact!) stamp set called Language of Love.  The larger pennants and flags, and the heart border at the bottom of the card, are created with these stamps.  Although it's almost impossible to see in the photo, the Very Vanilla panel on the front of the card is stamped with Stampin' Up!'s Dictionary stamp, using Blushing Bride ink (stamped off first).

JAI #189 : A COLOUR CHALLENGE

This week's Just Add Ink challenge, set by Kim, is to use this fabulous colour combination on your papercraft project:

 

 

I have decorated a box, to contain a set of five cards, all designed to match the box.  Here's the top of the box:

 

 

 

Stamps: Polka Dot Pieces, Chalk Talk, Dictionary

Card: Whisper White, Perfect Plum

DSP: Naturals Composition Specialty Designer Series Paper, Raspberry Ripple Patterns Designer Series Paper

Ink: Crumb Cake, Perfect Plum and Raspberry Ripple stampin' pads

I then used common elements to decorate five basic "For You" cards, that I think would make a nice gift for someone.  I've used some Perfect Plum Designer Series Paper, Perfect Plum and Crumb Cake card, plus all the 'ingredients' used above.
