STAMPIN' UP! CONGRATULATIONS CARD FEATURING HELLO, IRRESISTIBLE DSP

The card I'm sharing today has only a stamped sentiment ... I've let the gorgeous Hello, Irresistible papers do all the work!

I've used three of the patterned papers from the Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper pack.  The background is a floral paper with gorgeous muted tones of Flirty Flamingo.  I have added a wreath, cut from another patterned paper using Natural Prints Dies.

Here's a closer look at the paper used for the wreath, and at the sentiment, which I stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink using a stamp from Charming Sentiments.  I cropped it with a Sending Die, snipped off the end to sit it flush with the front panel of my card, and decorated the sentiment strip and the rest of the card with sequins from the Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio pack.

Finally, the border detail added across the bottom of the card front was cut from a third piece of paper, using Irresistible Blooms Dies.

STAMPIN' UP! BEAUTIFUL BALLOONS BABY CARD

I am so happy to have big balloons (stamps and dies) back in Stampin' Up!'s range, as they can be used for so many different celebratory occasions.

The card I'm sharing today is a (very) pink baby card, using Beautiful Balloons as the feature.  The ombre background is a piece of paper from the Bright & Beautiful DSP pack.  After stamping the balloon strings in Basic Gray ink, I embossed the paper with a Basics 3D embossing folder, that I think gives it the look of a baby blanket.  Bubble Bath ink was sponged around the edges of this panel before it was adhered to a layer of Bubble Bath card.

Each balloon has been stamped differently.  The left-hand large balloon was stamped first (the solid balloon shape) in Bubble Bath ink on Bubble Bath card.  I added the confetti stamped design in Moody Mauve ink.  The same inks were used on the right-hand large balloon, but stamped onto Basic White card.  The smaller of the three balloons was first die-cut from Bubble Bath card, and quite heavily sponged with Bubble Bath ink.  I stamped the sentiment, from Charming Sentiments, in Moody Mauve ink, and added a tiny Moody Mauve heart cut using an Around The Bend Die.

Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon is a great match for Moody Mauve.  I used two lengths of this lovely ribbon to create my bow.

Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins proved to be a lovely embellishment for my card; isn't the pink gorgeous?

The second part of the sentiment, also from Charming Sentiments, was stamped in Moody Mauve ink on a strip of patterned paper also from the Bright & Beautiful DSP pack.  I cut it out using a Sending Die, and sponged around the edges with Bubble Bath ink.  The tiny Bubble Bath hearts were also cut using an Around The Bend Die.  I sponged the edges of the little hearts (and all over my fingers, in the process 😂) with Bubble Bath ink.

For a little visual interest underneath the "Congratulations", I added some Smoky Slate and Basic White die-cut pieces, created with the border die from the Irresistible Blooms set.  I trimmed these pieces with Paper Snips, to size them for my project.

STAMPIN' UP! ADORABLE OWLS BABY CARD #1

I don't usually blog cards using retired products, but am making an exception in the coming days in sharing cards made with Sale-A-Bration freebies.  I was late in the Sale-A-Bration period to craft with these products, since ankle surgery prevented me from getting into my craft room.  I hope you enjoy these extra ideas for using Sale-A-Bration products!

The little owl was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, on Basic White card.  I used Stampin' Blends in Smoky Slate, Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green, to colour him.  His beak was coloured with the Mango Melody Stampin' Write Marker.

I used two square Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out the owl, and the Granny Apple Green layer that I'd embossed with the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder.  This same embossing folder was used on the Basic White background panel ... you can see the gorgeous detail on the photo below.

From a piece of Balmy Blue Dandy Designs DSP I cut the "lattice", using an Organic Beauty Die.  I backed the paper with Adhesive Sheet before cutting, to make it easier to adhere the trimmed lattice to my background.

The top part of the sentiment, from Charming Sentiments, was stamped in Versamark ink on Balmy Blue card, heat-embossed in white, then cut out using the co-ordinating die.

The second part of the sentiment is from the Happier Than Happy stamp set.  It was stamped in Granny Apple Green ink on Basic White card, and cropped with another Stylish Shapes Die.  The little hearts were created with an Around the Bend Die.

Listed below are the current Stampin' Up! products used to make this card.  I can no longer link to the Sale-A-Bration products in my online store, but if you'd like to buy any of the other items, and you live in Australia, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

Later today I will share another baby card, using the same stamps and papers; I hope you'll come back to see!
