STAMPIN' UP! LAST A LIFETIME WEDDING CARD

While I had out the Lasting Elegance Dies for yesterday's card, I made a second card with different dies in the set, and with the co-ordinating Last A Lifetime stamp set.

The colour scheme of my card, now that I look at it, is a bit 1980s!  Mind you, some people may still have red roses as their wedding flowers, so I'm going with it. 😀

The sentiment fit beautifully in one of the Beautiful Boughs Dies.  I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink, on Very Vanilla card, and matted it on a banner of Smoky Slate paper from the Neutrals 6"x6" Designer Series Paper pack that will be in our next Annual Catalogue, in June.  The Real Red paper is also from a pack we Stampin' Up! demonstrators were able to order months in advance of its June 2021 release.  You can get hold of all of the colour collections in this paper early, if you sign up as demonstrator before the end of February (you get FIVE packs of paper for FREE, when joining during Sale-A-Bration).

The ribbon used to create the bow is Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon, that was white, and that I coloured with my Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends marker.

The floral arrangements were stamped in Basic Gray ink, on Very Vanilla card.  I then coloured the roses with Real Red Stampin' Blends markers, and the leaves and berries with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  You can see in the photo below that I then added some shimmer, with a Wink of Stella glitter brush pen.

I had stamped, coloured, and die cut some tiny roses that didn't end up making it onto the front of the card, so I added them to the inside:

STAMPIN' UP! CONGRATULATIONS CARD FOR #TCH#6

The challenge over at Color Hues is to use the following colour combo on a card:

I have been itching to ink up a couple of the stamps from the new You Are Amazing stamp set (to be released on 5th January).  There is a cute speech bubble stamp, and sentiments that fit within it.  I chose Blushing Bride and Soft Suede as my colours, and have come up with this simple but fun card:

The top half of the card is all You Are Amazing.  I've teamed it with the So Much Happy bundle (stars and balloons - great for all occasions!), and added a sentiment from the Last A Lifetime stamp set.  All of my stamping is in Blushing Bride and Soft Suede.  The stars at the top, as you can see, are full-strength, and second-generation stamped impressions.

These are the stamps from You Are Amazing:

... and the stamped and die-cut stars and balloon are from So Much Happy:

I've finished off my card with a bow made of linen thread ... no sponging, no gems/sequins/resin dots.  This is very unusual for me, but I wanted a simple, clean, look.

Listed below are the current Stampin' Up! products used on my card.  (I can't link to the You Are Amazing stamp set, as it is not available to purchase until 5th January ... but I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek!)  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

STAMPIN' UP! ARRANGE A WREATH CARD IN PURPLE POSY

Purple Posy is a beautiful, soft, purple in Stampin' Up!'s range.  Unfortunately we don't have inkpads in this colour - it's the only colour, I think in Stampin' Up!'s history, that didn't have a stable formulation in the ink pad.  We do have Stampin' Blends, Stampin' Write markers, cardstock, papers, ribbons and accessories in this colour, so thankfully can still incorporate it on our projects!

I cut a wreath from Purple Posy card, then wasn't sure what to do with it.  I consulted Stampin' Up!'s colour resources, and came up with this colour combination to create with:

The inclusion of Pool Party is not something I would have thought of, but I love the result!

As you can see, I die cut a sprig wreath from Purple Posy card, and a leafy wreath from Whisper White card.  The background papers are Smoky Slate, from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper pack.  I stamped and die-cut a little heart, from the Arrange a Wreath bundle.  The sentiment, from the Last A Lifetime stamp set, is stamped in Pool Party ink, and die cut using Tasteful Labels dies.

After adhering the layered wreaths to the background, I added a sweet little bow in Pool Party Sheer Ribbon.  The sequins are a mix of Woven Threads and Artistry Blooms.

All of these products are available to purchase from my online store, which is open 24/7.  I would love for you to shop with me, if you live in Australia.  You can get to my store by clicking on any of the thumbnail product images below.

I hope you have a great weekend.  I'm off to a craft retreat (a small group, so we're able to socially distance) - the first in many months, so I am very excited!
