STAMPIN' UP! MIXED FLORALS TULIP THANK YOU CARD

Today's card is the last in my current Mixed Florals series.  I have had a lovely time creating with these products, but for now it's time to move on to something else.

For the background, I have used two different papers from the Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper pack.  I matted them on Calypso Coral card, and wrapped White 1/4" Diagonal Trim around the two layers, covering the vertical join.  A bow was created with the same ribbon, and adhered with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the focal image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, on Basic White card, and coloured it using Stampin' Blends Markers.  The flowers are Calypso Coral and Petal Pink, and most of the foliage is coloured in Shy Shamrock.  I added Granny Apple Green to the thin flower stems.  After die-cutting this piece, I used my Light Petal Pink Stampin' Blends to colour in the white background.  I then glued it to a piece of Basic White card cut using an Everyday Arches Die.  The arch is raised up on Stampin' Dimensionals.

The smaller Everyday Arches die-cut piece is also Basic White card.  I used a Blending Brush, and Petal Pink ink, to add colour to it.  There was some residual ink, of a different pink, on the Blending Brush, so it turned out a little darker than Petal Pink, but I think the pink complements the Calypso Coral flowers.

I stamped the sentiment, from Mixed Labels, in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and sponged the edges of the arched die-cut using Petal Pink ink.

Ombre Matte Decorative Dots finish off my design.

STAMPIN' UP! MIXED FLORALS ANNIVERSARY CARD

Today's Mixed Florals card has a bit going on!  I started with certain ideas in my head, but it morphed into something completely different, with a LOT of layers.  On top of the card base, there are 8 layers. 😆  I think it has come together okay, though.  What do you think?

Here's a snapshot of several of the details.  I started with a Thick Basic White card base.  On a piece of Petal Pink and White striped Designer Series Paper, I stamped (in Petal Pink ink) the same floral image as the focal piece on my card.  I sponged the edges of the DSP with Petal Pink ink, then matted the paper on Petal Pink card.  I then decided to splatter ink over the stamped paper, using my Dark Petal Pink and Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends Markers.  The final step for this piece was running it through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, in the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder.

Using Textured Notes Dies, I cut two rectangles from Boho Blue Two-Tone Cardstock (from the Storybook Life pack), and one from Basic White card.  I layered them, and matted the largest rectangle on a slightly larger piece of Calypso Coral card.

The focal image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, on Basic White card.  I used the following colours of Stampin' Blends Markers to colour the flowers and foliage:  Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Boho Blue, Granny Apple Green and Mossy Meadow.  I cut the image out with the co-ordinating die.

The sentiment, from the Mixed Labels stamp set, was stamped in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White card.  I cropped it using one of the Something Fancy Dies, and added a couple of Ombre Matte Decorative Dots.
