STAMPIN' UP! SIMPLY SUCCULENTS ENCOURAGEMENT CARD

Today I am sharing the last in my series of "sneak peeks" of the Simply Succulents bundle, that will be coming out on 5th January.  I have teamed the beautiful stamps and dies with a few different patterns of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, and the new Many Messages bundle (sentiment stamp and die) that will also be released on 5th January.

I stamped the succulents, and pot, on Thick Whisper White card, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I then used Stampin' Blends markers to colour the images.  The succulents are (bottom to top) coloured in Granny Apple Green, Mint Macaron and Puple Posy, and Mint Macaron and Gray Granite.  I've used Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends, and the Color Lifter pen, to colour the "terracotta" pot.

The sentiment is white-embossed on Basic Black card.  The stamp and die are from the Many Messages bundle, which is super-versatile, and already a firm favourite in my collection.

Apart from the new products that will be released on 5th January, I've listed below what I've used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

STAMPIN' UP! LOVE OF LEAVES IN MOSSY MEADOW

While I was creating with Mossy Meadow for last night's Colour Creations Showcase, I decided to make a completely different second card.  My starting point was die-cutting some Stitched Leaves from Mossy Meadow Designer Series Paper, from the Neutrals 6"x6" pack.  I've kept it simple, using some Whisper White and Crumb Cake, and a few new products from the upcoming January - June Mini Catalogue.

The strip of "leafy" paper down the right hand side of the card is from the Dandy Garden 6"x6" DSP pack, out on 5th January.  After die-cutting the leaves, I generously sponged them with Mossy Meadow ink, and arranged them in a cluster on a scalloped square of Whisper White card, that had been embossed with a new Stitched With Whimsy die.

The sentiment was stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a piece of Whisper White card, that I then cut with a Stitched So Sweetly die.  I mounted the sentiment on a horizontal strip of Whisper White Thick card that I'd embossed with a Greenery embossing folder.  The embellishments either side of the sentiment are another sneak peek.  We have lovely Opal Rounds coming in January.  I coloured them with my Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends marker, but you can still see the opalescence (well, in the left hand one, at least!):

Listed below are the current products I used to make my card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.  NB:  The Dandy Garden DSP, Stitched With Whimsy Dies, and Opal Rounds will be available to purchase from 5th January.

AWHT COLOUR CREATIONS SHOWCASE - WEEK 29: MOSSY MEADOW

Tonight is the last Colour Creations Showcase for this year; we'll be back, to continue sharing creations using Stampin' Up!'s colours, in alphabetical order, on 6th January.  As always, Cathy Proctor is co-ordinating our group share, and she has a comprehensive list on her blog of all the participants.  This week we are focussing on Mossy Meadow, a lovely dark green.

Mossy Meadow is a beautiful green to use on leaves, especially with the glorious magnolia stamp from the Good Morning Magnolia set.  I have used Jet Black StazOn ink to stamp the magnolia onto Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.  Using Water Painters, and reinkers in Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss, Early Espresso and Crushed Curry, I watercoloured the image.  When it was dry, I flicked some water droplets onto the coloured areas.  I love the grey tones that came through on the Mossy Meadow leaves, as the ink diluted.

My card base is Thick Whisper White, the front of which has been embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder.  The main background panel is one of the beautiful patterns from Dandy Garden 6"x6" Designer Series Paper, coming in the January - June Mini Catalogue (it will be available to purchase from 5th January).  I matted the paper on a piece of Mossy Meadow card, and die-cut the bottom of both the DSP and card panels, using the decorative edge die in the Magnolia Memory die pack.

The sentiment is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a piece of Whisper White card.  I used one of the new Stitched With Whimsy dies (coming on 5th January) to frame the word, then cut out the piece with a Stitched Rectangle die.  I do love my stitched dies!  I coloured some pearls with my Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends marker, and added a bow made with Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim (also coming in the January - June 2021 Mini Catalogue).

I added a little more Mossy Meadow to the inside of the card.  The sentiment is white-embossed on Mossy Meadow card, and cut using a Stitched Rectangle die.  A tiny watercoloured leaf finishes it off:

Listed below are the current Stampin' Up! products I used to make my card.  As mentioned, a few lovely "bits" aren't available until 5th January, so I am unable to link to those in my store just yet.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
