STAMPIN' UP! SAILING HOME CARD IN MOSSY MEADOW

Usually when I use the Sailing Home stamp set, I favour blues, and typical nautical colours.  The card I'm sharing with you today was based around the Mossy Meadow patterned paper from the World of Good Speciality Designer Series Paper pack.  I like the grungy look of it, and that it's perfect for a nautical themed masculine card.  I've also used strips of one of the Crumb Cake papers, and Misty Moonlight papers, from the same pack.  The Misty Moonlight piece has been embossed with the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder, and sponged with Misty Moonlight ink, in an effort to bring out some of the embossing that I thought looked a bit like waves.

I love the look of the Mossy Meadow Diagonal Striped Ribbon with the Mossy Meadow paper.  To colour the yacht, I used Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends markers on the sails and mast, and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends markers for the boat.  The water beneath the yacht was coloured with my Light Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends marker, then made lighter using the Color Lifter pen.

I stamped seagulls on the Mossy Meadow paper, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The sentiment is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink, on Whisper White card, and cut out using a Tasteful Labels Die.  The edges of the circle are sponged with Crumb Cake ink.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  They are available to purchase from my online store, if you live in Australia.  If you would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
