STAMPIN' UP! ORNATE GARDEN DAISY CIRCLE CARDS

I really enjoyed making this card a few months ago, so, rather than re-inventing the wheel, I decided to use the same layout, with different papers.

This is the colour scheme I worked with, thanks to the gorgeous Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper (that reminds me a bit of 1970s flannelette sheets!):

On my first card, I used a white-on-white background, adhering to my card base a Whisper White panel embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder.  I heat-embossed the sentiment in white embossing powder, on Old Olive card.  The scattered gems are a mix of Noble Peacock Rhinestones and In Color enamel dots (in Bumblebee).  I sponged the daisy centre with Crushed Curry ink, before adding a Perennial Essence Floral Centre.

I was happy with how this card turned out, but decided to make a second one with a couple of variations - and I'm glad I did, because I like the next one even more.  An added mat of Old Olive card helps the card look a bit crisper, I think.  The embossing folder I used on the second card is the new Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.  I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto Bumblebee card, and used only Noble Peacock Rhinestones as accents.  The ribbon on both cards is the new Bumblebee ribbon coming out tomorrow (yippee!).

I can't yet link to the new products in my online store ... that will happen from tomorrow.  However, all other Stampin' Up! products I used to make these cards are listed below.  The stamp set, fuzzy flower centres and rhinestones are all retiring today, so if you must have them, make sure you shop today!  You can reach my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.  I'd love for you to shop with me if you live in Australia, and don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
