STAMPIN' UP! DAISY LANE FRIEND CARD IN SEASIDE SPRAY

There is a new stamp set called Daisy Lane, with a co-ordinating Medium Daisy Punch, that complements our existing Daisy Delight stamp set and Daisy Punch.  I must confess that I have owned the latter-mentioned products for a long time, without having used them ... looking at the punch, I felt uninspired.  Well, silly me - all I needed to do, was have a play!  The punched out daisies (both sizes) are gorgeous when layered.

I have made a few cards using the colour combination of Seaside Spray, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.  Seaside Spray is by far my favourite of the five new In Colors.  I really must show some love to the others!

Here is the first card I made.  The fern-like foliage was inked in Crumb Cake, stamped off onto scrap paper, then stamped onto Whisper White card, to give a subtle look.  After stamping the white panel, I ran it through my Big Shot with the Tufted embossing folder.

My favourite element of this card - well, apart from the stamped and sponged daisies - is the ribbon treatment.  I have layered Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon over the top of Seaside Spray Scalloped Linen Ribbon.  Pretty, don't you think?
