STAMPIN' UP! COUNTRY LANE BIRTHDAY CARD

While I'm having a love affair with Stampin' Up!'s Country Lane Designer Series Paper, I thought I'd share the latest card I made with it.  Mint Macaron, Early Espresso and Whisper White are today's colours.  There's hardly any stamping on this card - just the single flower, that I coloured with markers, and added some shimmer to with Wink of Stella (no matter what angle I tried to photograph that from, it didn't show, so you'll have to take my word for it!).

I die cut the "Happy Birthday" once from Mint Macaron card, and once from Whisper White card.  I ever-so-slightly offset the layers when gluing them together.  The delicate scalloped borders are from the Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper pack.  After tying a knot in the twine, I used the tip of my scissors to fray out the ends a bit.

All of the products I used to make this card are listed below.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, and you live in Australia, I would love for you to shop with me (if you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator).  To get to my online store, just click on any of the thumbnail images below.

I'm at a craft retreat this weekend, so hopefully will come home with at least a few creations to share!  My plan is to work on Christmas cards, but I must say my enthusiasm for them is waning.  I am ready to move on from Christmas, and it's still more than a month away!  I hope you are having a lovely weekend, whatever it holds for you.

STAMPIN' UP! VARIED VASES FRIENDSHIP CARD

The other day, while I had out my Varied Vases stamp set, and Country Lane Designer Series Paper, I made a second card in different colourways.  Crushed Curry, Early Espresso and Whisper White make for a bold, fresh combination, don't you think?

It wasn't until I had assembled and photographed my card, that I didn't "anchor" the vases with a little shelf.  Whoops!  I think the graphic look of the card lets me get away with it.

The Stamparatus was key in colouring the floral spray on this card.  I stamped the outline image in Early Espresso, then filled the gaps with the flower stamp and Crushed Curry ink.  Check out how beautifully the two-step stamping aligned!

I have listed below all the products used to make this card.  If you click on any of the thumbnail images, you'll be taken direct to my online store.  I would love for you to shop with me, if you live in Australia, and don't already have a Stampin' Up1 demonstrator you buy from.

STAMPIN' UP! BROADWAY BIRTHDAY MASCULINE CARD

Yesterday Jack, my eldest, turned 23.  We went out for dinner last night to celebrate, so I have held off until he had received his card, before posting photos on here!

This year's card has an elegant theme.  My starting point was the Black Foil Sheets, from Stampin' Up!s Holiday Catalogue.  I've teamed the shiny card with the candle-patterned paper from the Broadway Bound Specialty DSP pack.  The "23" was cut from another strip of the DSP - very handy, that the two digits I needed were right next to one another!  I embossed the Black Foil Sheet with the Oh My Stars embossing folder, and used a vertical strip of super-narrow washi tape.  A gold-embossed and die-cut party hat, and silver candle embellishments, finished the card.

.... a slightly closer look at the glossy, embossed, panel (along with evidence I need to replace the blades in my paper trimmer!):

Listed below are the Stampin' Up! products used to make Jack's card.  If you would like to shop for them, in my online store, just click on any of the thumbnail images below.
