JAI #335: STAMPIN' UP! FESTIVE BIRTHDAY CARD

Tina has come up with a pretty cool sketch for our Just Add Ink challenge, launching today.  Normally our challenges run for one week, but we're extending this one until 9th November, as several members of the Design Team (including yours truly, woohoo!) will be attending Stampin' Up!'s On Stage Live event in Brisbane next week. I'm so looking forward to catching up with some friends who I see perhaps only once a year.

Here is the sketch, which at first had me a bit stumped, as is usually the case with any circular elements! However, the design translated into a rather fun card, so it has me hooked!  I plan to use this sketch to make a few more cards ... but don't hold your breath, with my upcoming time away in Brisbane meaning no card making for a little while.

I have let the gorgeous Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper do all the talking on this card!  This is the first time I've used my Stylized Birthday stamp, and I just love the look of it, white-embossed on Melon Mambo card.  The texture on the two white semi-circles is provided by the Festive embossing folder.

Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products to make this cheery card.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, clicking on one of the thumbnail images will take you to my online store.

You must check out the rest of the Design Team's creations, to see what fun everyone had with this sketch!

  6. Hey Christine,

Hope you're having a good time in Brisbane and enjoying your friends. What a pretty card, love the florals, and tiny element florals. Your all white embossed outer circles complement the rest of your design.
