JAI #317: A COLOUR CHALLENGE

We have a beautiful (Spring-like, I think) colour combo to work with, at Just Add Ink this week, thanks to Kim.

I have used a number of new Stampin' Up! products on my card.  I'm a sucker for the enamel shapes (I've run out of one colour already!), and love that the new paper doilies are a little smaller, and better sized for a card front.

After colouring my stamped images with blender pens, I painted clear Wink of Stella over the bird ... here is a better view:

Make sure you check out the rest of the Design Team's creations over at Just Add Ink.  We'd love for you to combine these colours on a papercraft project, and share with us on the Just Add Ink site!

Listed below are the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  If you click on one of the thumbnail images, you'll be taken direct to my online store.

  1. Christine, your little shimmery birdie is so sweet in pick & has a very pretty card to perch on. Love the natural texture on the background too. Hugs, D

  2. Your bird looks so lovely all shimmery this way, so glad you gave us a close up. I'm trying to work out what you used to get that gorgeous textured background - it works well with your bird on a branch. x

  3. Patrice, there's a gorgeous hessian/cross-hatch stamp in the Best Birds set. I stamped it repeatedly to create my background.
