JAI #284: STAMPIN' UP! ENGLISH GARDEN FLOWER PATCH CARD

Our Just Add Ink challenge this week, set by Di, is to create a FANCY FOLD CARD.

Now, I don't ever get too "fancy" with my card making.  I'm pretty strictly an A5-sized card girl, mostly 'tent fold' (with the fold at the top), but sometimes conventional side fold.  That's about the extent of my mixing it up!

I have, however, stepped outside of my comfort zone.  Not too far, mind you; the card I've made is a very simple one.  It's called a "Z-Fold card", and I found a tutorial here:  http://beccysplace.blogspot.com.au/2011/06/technique-class-z-fold-card.html

This type of card is a great canvas for showcasing Designer Series Papers.  I've used a couple of designs from Stampin' Up!'s English Garden paper pack.

Here's the front of the card:

.... and opened up a bit:

.... and the inside panel on which a message can be written:

Given the rather large size of the card (it was made using an A4 piece of card), I custom-made an envelope with my trusty Envelope Punch Board.  Love that you can create an envelope to suit, in just minutes.

Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products used to make this card.  If you are in Australia, and would like to buy any of the items yourself, just click on a thumbnail image, and you'll be taken direct to my online store.

Be sure to check out the stunning creations of the rest of the Just Add Ink team; there are some wonderful ideas to inspire you, right here.
