JAI #280: STAMPIN' UP! BIRTHDAY BLOSSOMS WITH BLACK GLIMMER

Nikki has set us the challenge to "Just Add Glimmer" to our papercraft projects, at Just Add Ink this week.

I am all over the gorgeous new Black Glimmer Paper, in the Holiday Catalogue.  My photography leaves a bit to be desired, in that you can't see how beautiful the glimmery details are on my card - but I'll follow up the main pic with a couple of close-ups.  When it came time to make my card for this week's challenge, I settled on my favourite pairing of the Birthday Blossoms stamp set, and Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper.

I die-cut the "happy", and punched the circles for flower centres, from Black Glimmer Paper.  I finished the flowers with some now-retired black glimmer brads, to "up" the glimmer factor!

Here's a slightly better angle to see some of the glimmer on the die-cut sentiment:

... and the glimmery flower centres:

I have listed below all the current Stampin' Up! products used to make my card.  If you would like to buy any of the products, just click on a thumbnail image below, and you'll be taken to my online store.

Make sure you check out the rest of the beautiful creations of the Just Add Ink Design Team.  We hope you are inspired to play along with us!
