STAMPIN' UP! CRAZY ABOUT YOU BRIGHT BIRTHDAY CARD

While I had my supplies out to make yesterday's Just Add Ink card, I decided to use the colour combination in a totally different way.  Husband much prefers this card (he is a "purple" fiend), but my youngest son and I prefer my Design Team sample.  Let me know what you think!

Here's the colour combo again:

.... and here's my second card:

I love the two-toned sentiment - it's my favourite way to use that particular stamp from Tag Talk.  I stamp it once in each colour, cut out the middle panel, and adhere the cut-out piece to the other colour (does that make sense?).

I've plaited (or, for our Northern Hemisphere friends, "braided") Smoky Slate and Bermuda Bay thick baker's twine, to add a bit of interest beneath the bold flowers.

Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products used to make this card.  You can visit my online store, by clicking on any of the thumbnail images.

  1. I do love your DT sample but actually I think I prefer this one! I adore the bold blackberry flowers against the Bermuda DSP base and your two toned greeting and plaited twine compliment them beautifully! xo
