JAI #271: STAMPIN' UP! MADE WITH LOVE

Narelle has come up with a great sketch for us at Just Add Ink this week.  We'd love for you to make a card or scrapbook page, using this sketch, and share it on the Just Add Ink blog.

Here's the sketch:

I decided to make a baby card, using the oh-so-cute Sweet Li'l Things Designer Series Paper.  The papers decided my colour scheme for me - Tip Top Taupe, Tangelo Twist, Pool Party and Very Vanilla.

Talking of cute, have you seen the Made With Love stamp set yet?  This is one of the latest additions to my collection, and I can see myself having all sorts of fun with it!  The stamps are designed to co-ordinate with the gorgeous Baby's First framelits.

I first stamped the "onesie" (what I've always known as a growsuit ... is that a New Zealand thing?) in Tip Top Taupe ink, on Very Vanilla card.  The kitten and sentiment (all on one stamp) were stamped onto the front of the onesie, in Tangelo Twist ink.  I used a Blender Pen, and the inkpads,  to add some subtle touches of colour to the onesie and the kitten.  This adorable stamp set comes in photopolymer, which makes it super-easy to position images exactly where you want them.

  5. Such a gorgeous baby card Christine! I love your "purrfect" image - so beautifully coloured and your pretty DSP choices too. It could be a NZ thing - I know them as "stretch and grow" suits which is similar :-) xo
